*Date of transaction: ********* *Issued deposit of $930. Check was cashed by business on ******* *Southern Siding and Windows presented a contract to wrap four roof dormers in vinyl siding on my house. Although I thought the estimate was high, I agreed, signed the contract, and issued a deposit check of $930. Contract stated that if I backed out of contract after three days, I would be charged a 30% penalty. Two weeks after agreeing to the contract, Southern Siding contacted me and stated they made a mistake and would have to increase to cost by 80%. (Almost double?). I stated that the contract was fair and mutually agreed to and that I expect it to be honored.Business response

I spoke with ***** on **** and expressed my dissatisfaction with their absence of professionalism. I've hired a new contractor and will no longer do business with Southern Siding and Windows. We signed a contract for 21 window to be replaced in our house January XX XXXX. They began the project in may and now it is December **** and the project is still incomplete. They have been told that air is getting in our windows and we can see the out side from the inside of our home. I have called and left messages and been told they would call me back. No one ever calls back and we still have cold air pooping in our windows.Business response

The circumstances for the colors on her window project have made getting materials very difficult. We apologize for the wait time profusely. We have had a difficult year with receiving materials.
