I signed up May 2023, from day one we have had issues. Their products haven’t worked. They always have to come out and re-spray again there’s been times where they claim they sprayed, but didn’t and we wanted to end our contract with them, but was unfortunately locked into it Until April 2024. I thought it was going to cancel after that date, but however, I didn’t see in a small print that I had to email and was charged a monthly fee. I’ve had reached out about that fee because they haven’t been out to spray in two months and the last time they were out to spray was a reservice for their products not working I was informed I would not get any compensation back. I still never received my statement for this year and when the billing is supposed to come out, I only have last year so I didn’t know when the billing would come out. I asked to speak with the manager a week prior and haven’t got a response. I’ve called the last two days and still haven’t gotten a response after reading the reviews lately. I’m not the person with this problem and all I want , is this past months refund. They have been very rude and I would never recommend this company to anyone and would never use their services again.Initial Complaint

Chimex knocked on my door o sale pest control, for $60 down then monthly billing. We opted for the one time $60 service and were told we didn't have to set up automated billing. Once we paid for the first and ONLY service Chimex continued trying to bill us after we called and cancelled. We have just been told by them have to email a cancellation, they couldn't "find" where we cancelled by phone and told me we had to pay the $149 cancellation fee, even though we cancelled months ago. I want this reviewed.Business response

Hello BBB,
I had spoken with this customer and it was my understanding that we had already reached a resolution. This customer signed on for the Complete Pest Plan Agreement agreeing to pay $39.00 for the initial service and $59.00 per month for quarterly treatments and a free re-service guarantee. When I spoke to this customer they claimed to have canceled in August, however there was no record of the required written notice of cancellation in our CRM or e-mail. I informed the customer over the phone that despite having no record of their cancellation, if they would submit a written notice of cancelation to the customer care email that I would refund them for the months of August, September, October, November, December and January less the $149.00 cancellation fee required by the contract. That re-fund was successfully issued. The contract, email chain, and refund confirmation will be attached to this response.
