      I purchased a Granite 4x4 Mega remote control truck from HobbyTown on 12/8/21. After carefully breaking in the truck I was disappointed with the duration of drive time. I returned to the store Saturday 12/11/21 to purchase a battery upgrade. After speaking with staff I was told that the battery upgrade would not damage my truck since it is the recommended upgrade for my truck. After using one battery cycle driving the truck it no longer ran. I called HobbyTown and spoke with the owner and was told there is nothing he will do to assist me. He has a no return policy. I told him I was never informed of his no return policy to which he replied it's on the bottom of hit receipt. I have never made a purchase that had a no return policy. I explained that if I had been aware of the policy I would have never made the purchase. I would have taken my business to a better supplier. This is similar to a bait and switch situation. They sold me on purchasing the Granite Truck stating it is the latest and greatest. They underhandedly neglected to mention their no return policy, trying to hide behind what they obviously felt was a safety net by printing the policy on the receipt. I feel this has also made me a victim of fraud since the policy is not presented to their customer until after the purchase has already been made, money taken and receipt given. Please help me resolve this matter.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/15) */ This is Matthew M***** at Hobbytown in columbia SC I speak with **** ****** and told him that ******* hobby will warranty this item all he had to do is contact them Also the return policy is posted on the front door and on the bottom of the receipt also in front of the register if he dos not want to do the leg work i can replace the motor for him other wise he must go through ******** hobby
