I dropped my car off to AAMCO on Broad River on or about May 27. I paid $1000 down by credit card debit. Mr. Chad stated that he was going to order my Transmission and that it would arrive by Friday., June 3. To my recollection, it arrived on Mon, June 6, 2022. Another payment was made on June 8, 2022 of $2,890 that was financed. Of course, Mr. Chad said you can pay it off in 90 days. I already told him my dire strait situation, but some people will say anything for a dollar. I then paid the remainder on Thursday, June 9th. I start to pay on it because I was struggling fianancially. I thought I was going to get the car on Friday, June 10, but I did not get it until Monday, June 13. What a day. The vehicle drove good the first day then I noticed that it was driving strangely again and got worse as the days went by but I thought that it was my imagination and took it back to get my air conditioner fixed. When I picked up my car from the AC service, I saw oil so I thought was around my driver wheel and I thought it was just the mechanic may have placed the wheel in a greasy spot and he was too busy to clean it up. As the days went by, the grease got worse and I thought it was the break fluid. I realized that it was not that and I had no idea that I was traveling in a time bomb. On Sat., July 23rd I drove a White rich family from the Airport to Covington, GA. I had no idea what danger that we were in. I went to Chad at AAMCO on Monday, June 25th, and he wanted to work on my vehicle, but I did not trust him since I spend all that money... The reality of the grave danger that I was in and the people who road with me did not hit me until I drove my car to Augusta, GA to visit my motherinlaw and fatherinlaw at their home. My fatherinlaw came out to greet me and saw the grease/oil on my wheel and told me that it may be bearings and or CV Axle. I realized that I was a driving time bomb. I became angry... We went to a reliable company in Augusta and the mechanic...
