I had a tiled shower done in my new build. The tile is defective and installed improperly, according to the representative I spoke to through email and phone. On January 28,2022 ***** from waccamaw sent us an email stating he would file a complaint with the company. This email was sent 8 months after we first brought it to his attention. Since the email he sent in January 2022 I have not been contacted and I have not received any answer to my messages I have left via personal cell phone, email, business phone and even stopping in the store to settle this issue.Business response

We visited their home shortly after completion to look at the areas of concern their contractor had contacted us about. Upon visiting we noticed the "light color spots" they were concerned about (see photos attached). These mosaics installed in their shower are a natural stone (marble) and these color variations are characteristics of marble. The owners have continuously complained that they are defective and that something is on them. We have tried to clean them, as requested by homeowners, with no results as it is part of the marble. After trying to clean, we contacted the manufacturer to get their opinion on the "light color spots" on the mosaics. They asked us to find out what the homeowner was using to clean the tile with. After gathering that information and sending the photos attached to the manufacturer's technical services team, they concluded that it was characteristics of the marble mosaics that were installed. We have informed the homeowners and contractor of this multiple times.Initial Complaint

After waiting almost, a year for a defective product replacement by Waccamaw Flooring the job was to be completed by a painter at their expense to paint damaged base board molding throughout the house. After weeks after floor was done and many calls to Waccamaw Flooring, they finally sent a painter over to see what he needed to have his men do the job. That was two months ago, and he has never call to make an appointment to do the job for Waccamaw. Several emails and left phone messages Waccamaw fail to get back to me and offer a reason for this painter that they hired never came to do the job or send another painter out. Flooring and box were dumped behind my front door and several other damage issues came up after their men did floor replacement. This firm puts you off with lame excuses that are not true and hope the customer would go away and not respond to them. They put on a friendly act, but they are not reliable at all.Business response
