I Purchased a 2016 ***** *** on September 27, 2023 for $23,000. The truck drove great during the test drive. After the purchase I drove the truck maybe 10 miles and it started running hot. I went to ******** and purchased a new thermostat and changed it out to see if that was the problem. After replacing thermostat I drove the truck and it still ran hot. The next morning I called Bolts and he sent me to a mechanic that he uses. They kept my truck for two days and flushed out the system and said everything looked good. That evening after I picked the truck up from the mechanic I was driving to see if the problem was resolved and it started running hot again. I took my truck the next morning to my mechanic and he ran diagnostic tests on it and said he thought it might be the head gaskets. I called Bolts immediately and he told me to take my truck to another one of his mechanics. I dropped my truck off with this mechanic and he had had it for several weeks and replaced the water pump and a thermostat which I had already replaced the day I bought the truck. I was charged almost $800 for this in which Bolt refused to pay or help pay. I picked my truck up on Monday Oct 23, 2023 and it is now Thursday Oct 26 and my truck is still running hot. After talking to a few people that know Bo C***** the owner of Bolts Auto Sales they say he is a crook and will rigg a vehicle just to sell and will not stand behind it. I have yet driven my truck more than 30 miles which is only miles that was testing it and taking it to mechanics since I bought it a month ago. It has sat in my driveway or been at a mechanic’s since day 1. I have the phone calls, receipts, mileage on truck all to back me up. Even the picture of me and the truck from their ******** page when they sold me the truck. I just want people to know what kind of person they are buying from when they buy a truck from Bo C***** at Bolt’s Auto Sales in Easley, SC. Read his reviews. I should have!

We discounted the truck for Mr ******* and told him that when we discount trucks it’s hard for us to help when issues arise. However we told him to have it taken to a shop who inspected it the first time it came in. They flushed the system and told him to drive it and let them know. He never did he went somewhere else and they told him the head gaskets were blown and they couldn’t fix it. He called us asking if we knew anyone that could fix it. We sent him to another shop that can fix head gasket issues. They informed us it wasn’t a head gasket but a bad water pump and it the bill was like $775. Mr ******* never called us about us paying for that. We told the shop he’d need to call us that it wasn’t the shops responsibility. We talked to the shop last week and haven’t heard anything else. He told us he wasn’t mad nor necessarily looking for us to pay for anything just to get to a shop to get it fixed after his shop couldn’t do it. We did just that and haven’t heard from him since. How are we suppose to know there was an issue anymore when he hasn’t called us. We knocked off over 1500$ just so he could get the truck on the first place. So like we tell all of our customers that takes out any room for us to help on repairs. I’ve been in business for several years and people know I do not rig any truck up to just sell them. We try making our vehicles 100% ready to go and stand behind them when issues come up. We can’t predict the future but we also help our customers especially when they are respectful and civil towards us. Mr ******* had been this way for the most part but again we haven’t heard from since the truck was sent over to the shop to fix water pump. We hate he had this issue but he has 1500 off the price of the truck to help goes toward fixing. Not to mention the bank told him he was getting a fantastic deal as it was priced 8k under book. We try and make our truck’s affordable and dependable rides for along time. Check my reviews I gave lots of great ones and a small handful of bad ones. You can’t make everyone happy in this world unfortunately.

We sold the ************ a suv on June 5th which they never drove before hand buying. They called later that evening saying it was acting weird. We had it checked out next day by a shop who put some fluid in it to see if that would help while also getting us a quote on a transmission. I told them I would help but I couldn’t pay the full price of it if the fluid didn’t fix it. They told us they couldn’t afford the difference. Then the next week asked if they came up with the money could they get a car to drive which we told them know we didn’t have vehicles for them to drive they could get a rental if needed. Month goes by not a word they even stopped by had to get another tag because someone stole it. July 31st we get texts about getting transmission rebuilt that his wife was starting a new job in Spartanburg and he wanted to get it fixed because he thought it would hurt it to drive it that far along with putting more miles on it. My girl simply told him that she didn’t know where I stood on fixing it now that it had been over a month since we told them we’d help. He got mad and thought we should be grateful for saving an extra $400 off the price of it. She told him to get her the shop info and let her talk to me. Which he responded wanting a contract to just pay him the money for the transmission which was $1450 for the services of that I could just buy it back stating he never signed paperwork which he did we have the proof. She again told him all she wanted was the info to the shop because we pay the shops directly and told him that he did sign paperwork along with an as is. That we were simply doing this as a good will for them and have no obligation to do anything at all but we’re trying to help. Since that day we have never heard anymore from them. We believe they just needed some money he talked about having some medical issues and so forth. It was very strange he was so against giving us the shops info to call them. He wanted us to just pay him
