I have been a patient for several years. I have a knee replacement SCHEDULED. I got a certified letter stating I am no longer a patient. No explanation given. This is outrageous and retaliatory all because I had no choice but to call the administrative offices at McLeod multiple times in order to get my medication refilled. ******** office will NOT answer the phone in a timely manner. December 2022 *********************** had started me on a new trial medication, Seglentis. I had to use a discount card that gave me 56 pills for 14 days (4 pills a day). Otherwise, the cost would be over $400. She said just call the office when you need a refill. That would mean me calling the office every 14 days. This is where my nightmare began with McLeod/******** office. Every time I called the office for a refill I would get a recording saying something like I was caller number 45 with an average wait time over 60 minutes or something ludicrous. At one point I stayed on hold for over 90 minutes to request my refill.I attempted to use my chart to send messages instead of calling. I was told no one is reading those messages because its the NEW SYSTEM. **************** called in my Seglentis but he inadvertently changed the directions from taking 2 tablets in the morning 2 tablets in the evening to only taking 1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet at night. ************************************* put a note in my chart saying said *************** would correct. He did send the updated medication dose to correctly reflect 2 tablets in the morning and 2 tablets in the evening, that is all he changed. So, he failed to update the quantity. I still did not have enough medication. NEVER CORRECTED. Retaliated by dropping me as if this was my fault!I might add at last appointment I tried to pay a balance owed and was told nothing was showing up on the new system. Later McLeod sent me to a collection agency for a ********** tried to pay while in the office.
