Palmetto pulpwood and Timber was contracted to do a "Clear Cut" of our property around the 10th of December. Listed below are our complaints with them.1. The company did not honor the contract. Trees were left standing and some were left leaning.2. When ********************** came to view our trees, he said that most of our trees were the chip and saw which was priced at $17 a ton. But we only had 3 loads of the chip and saw out of 39/42 loads 3. The loading dock was left a mess. tree tops were piled and some left scattered on the ground.4. Limbs and branches were left laying all over the land.5. It was stressed several times that we wanted limbs piled so they could be burned to ********************** and to **** and they both agreed and assured us it would be done, but it was not done.6. We were told that we would receive tickets at the end of each day. We did not. Then we were told that we would get our tickets along with our first check that following Thursday after they started. We did not get tickets or a check. Finally we were told that the mill changed their process that the mill only give out tickets after work is completed and all loads are turned in. On the day of completion ********************** told me that we had a total of 42 loads. When we received our first check which was about two weeks after completion the tickets still was not included with the check. When we received the second check the tickets still was not included. I went to the office to ask for the tickets and was given tickets totaling 39 loads. I asked him about the other 3 tickets and was told that's all the tickets that had been turned in. I told **** ********************** said 42 loads, but he said only 39 was turned in.7. I spoke to **** about cleaning up and the missing 3 loads he said he would speak with ********* and for me to call him back. I called and lefted text messages on several occasions and he never responded.
