      On Wednesday, March 8, 2024, I was notified by LifeLock that a new utility account request associated with my identity was detected by Red Ventures, LLC from *******************. I emailed Red Ventures LLC on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, to notify them of the unauthorized utility account. I called them several times starting on Wednesday, May 8, and three more calls were made on Monday, May 13, 2024 during business hours, to try and notify Red Ventures, LLC. of the unauthorized utility account but no one responded or answered my phone call. I have never visited or lived in ************** and I am very concerned that this company may have my information without my permission or consent. Please investigate as I am unable to get a response from Red Ventures LLC.

      I am receiving NUMEROUS emails from this company.1. You are to immediately cease sending emails (within 24 hours)2. You are to disclose where/when/who and the ** address where you obtained my information 3. You are to COMPLETELY and IMMEDIATELY delete ALL my ************** are to ensure that ALL my information is COMPLETELY and IMMEDIATELY deleted from ANYONE who you may have shared or sold my information to.Any further emails received after this complaint was filed, you agree to make a payment of $1000 per email received, for my services of "spam removal", via **** money order.I will accept NO other response than what is stated above.

      Thank you for forwarding this matter to our attention.  Customer feedback is critical to our never-ending efforts to provide best-in-class customer experiences across all of our websites.


      We have reviewed ****************** complaint and the things that alleges do not match our records.  **************** claims to have received numerous emails.  However, he only received one email which was sent on 09/29/2022. It is possible that he has received other marketing emails from other sources which he incorrectly believes were originated by Red Ventures, but **************** did not submit any samples to allow us to investigate that possibility. 


      **************** goes on to demand that we pay him $1000 per email for spam removal services.  While we ordinarily try to meet every request of every consumer,  this is an unreasonable request that we must refuse.  Red Ventures has not spammed ****************.  However, we have removed his email address from our marketing list and would be happy to share the other information he has requested if he contacts us directly at ******************************************* We ask that the subject line of the email state: Regarding My BBB Complaint ***********.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The companies response is false, I have received NUMEROUS emails, and I NEVER asked to be put on their list, they also failed to disclose how/when/etc I was placed on their list. Since my time is very valuable, $1000 to remove spam they send me is not unreasonable. For these reasons, I REJECT their response.
