This all started 2 year’s November Seth Worley was contracted to build a 1 acre pond. After a year he sent and employee to clear the land, the employee clears the wrong property and had to be corrected to clear the property we owned. Months later he sent another employee to start digging when he finished weeks later I was told it was 1 acre, we measured it was only a half acre which we accepted. After the first few rains one end of the pond filled up the other didn’t get any water in it, within a week it all leaked out of the end that had water. I informed Seth one end didn’t get any water in because that didn’t dig it out enough and that all the water leaked out of the other end. He once again sent an employee they worked a day or two and said it was fix, once again we had the very same problem as mentioned above. This same problem continued 5 more times with Seth saying the problem was fixed. Finally, he sent another man, named ***** ********, of *** Construction, who is an expert at building ponds. ***** asked Seth if they removed the top soil before they started building the dam, Seth told him yes, I told ***** they did not remove the top soil. So ***** told Seth to dig 4 test holes in the dam, those test holes showed Seth did not remove the top soil and used unclean dirt to build the dam. ***** told me Seth did a awful job and that the pond would never hold water. So now Seth wants to his crew to do the work under *****’s supervision. Which is unacceptable to us Seth has lied and done an awful job, my solution is a refund or paid *****’s to fix his mess.

This was a customer of ours but his complaint is not valid. Most of what he has written is not true. I have exhausted all options to rectify this including working under his preferred contractors supervision to fix this. Mr. ****** is only telling part of the story.

      Customer response

I am sorry I didn’t respond sooner I am traveling in our ministry and didn’t see I only had 5 days to respond. Please allow this case to stay open, I really need to respond.
Seth responded to my original complaint that I was not telling the truth but didn’t state where I lied.
I can tell you where Seth has lied multiple times. It started with his own employees telling us how shady his was, lying and cheating his customers and that he had lied to and cheated us too.
After the pond was “finished” but wouldn’t hold water and Seth sent his crew out 5 times to “fix” the pond, Seth and his crew told me verbally and in text messages they had no idea what they were doing, even though Seth told me before he started the pond “anyone can dig a pond”.
Seth, said he was willing to be supervised by “my contractor” he is referring to ***** ******** of *** Construction, who I only met I few weeks before I started this complaint. ***** was sent to our place to inspect the pond by Seth to prove he had done nothing wrong. When ***** first came to inspect the pond I walked around with him and he keep said multiple times this is a mess, the person who did this had no idea what they were doing, and it may not be able to be fixed. ***** asked me if the top soil was removed and clean dirt used for the dam, I told him NO. ***** asked Seth the very same questions, Seth told him yes they definitely removed the top soil and used clean dirt for the dam (more lies from Seth). ***** suspected Seth was lying and asked for 4 test holes to be dug in the dam, these 4 holes revealed the top soil had not been removed and that clean dirt was not used. Seth has messed up our pond, he should have never taken our money for something he had no idea how to do.
Seth’s solution allow me back on your property under ***** supervision, I asked ***** how that would work he said Seth DID NOT have the equipment he would have to rent heavy equipment and that the job would did to be finished when it was started within interruption. I asked Seth about this he said he would use his equipment and would do the job a day here and there between his other jobs. This is clearly not going to work I want a refund or for Seth to pay ***** to fix the pond right. *** ** can be contacted at 864-********. I am pleading with Seth and the BBB to do what is right and help us get a working pond.
      Thank you ****
