We first met with CDP on 12/12/21 to get a fence replaced. I told them I wanted the same exact fence as the existing ones but with an additional gate. The old fence was old and due for a replacement. They quote me $3,500 and started work on the 12/18/21 but I had to work so I gave them the money before I left for work, which I regret. I came back to a horrible, dangerous fence installation: One of the gates as sagging horribly due to a broken tensioning bolt. Both gates had 30+ nails sticking about an inch out of the gate, which is a hazard by itself, but I also have a toddler running around and that is unacceptable. They didn't replace the fence with a shadow box style, which is what was discussed, they instead went with a board on board panel. They installed one side of the fence crooked and now it covers up one of my sprinkler heads, rendering it inoperable. And finally, our old fence had latches that were able to operate from the inside and outside, while the new latches are only operable from the outside. If you close the gate behind you, the only way to get out is to hop the fence. I realize that some of these are small problems, but one problem has cause my sprinkler to be inoperable, and one poses a dangerous hazard. I first mentioned these problems to them on 12/28/21, and said they insisted the fence was installed straight and that the previous fence also covered up the sprinkler. They also said they could redo the gates and latches, but would cost an additional $80 for something that should have been done right the first time. They never returned to do the job right after multiple calls, voicemails and texts. On 2/28/21, 2 months after the initial complaint, I told them that instead of fixing the fence, which they clearly had no intention of doing, I'd like my money back for the horrible, dangerous installation and they can have their materials back. They have single blocked my number and I am unable to reach out to them any further
