On April 11 I gave my mom money to go to the shop to have my car muffler fixed because my exhaust pipe was broke off for my muffler. I had to go to work so I gave her the money to get it done which was $80 because I already talked to the Shop over the phone and they told me that all they have to do is weld a pipe from the exhaust to the muffler, and that it was still sound the same as self and that it wouldn’t be making the real loud noise that is making. My mom went to the shop and got the job done. I already knew that my muffler was good because I had a mechanic look at it days before. two weeks after I took my car to the Morales muffler shop. I had another mechanic look at it because something just wasn’t right on it. They left the car up and told me that that they took my whole muffler off which I guess called a catalytic converter as well, I went to the shop, with my mom, the owner acting like he didn’t know us and pretty much said it is what it is and there’s no refund and that they won’t be replacing the muffler even though I told her it shouldn’t have it taken off in the beginning. I’m not too savvy, but I didn’t tell him to make my whole car straight pipe. Plus I’m still making payments on the car as well so it’s not even my vehicle so I’m trying to figure out the best way to go about it to get a refund as well as for them to put a muffler back on his vehicle correctly.
