My husband and I hired Scott Eller, owner of Ninja Renovation Group, LLC. and Ninja Exteriors, LLC. to extend, cover, and screen in our back patio. He came to our house Tuesday, April 5, 2022 to give us a quote. On Friday, April 8, 2022, Scott provided us with an extremely professional blueprint of his ideas for our back patio. On May 31, 2022 we paid a 50% deposit of $4,000 for the concrete to be poured. On Wednesday, June 22, 2022, Scott had a contractor come pour the concrete. On June 23, 2022, we paid the final $4,000 for the concrete, along with our 50% patio deposit of $11,929.13, which came to a total of $15,929.13. Originally Scott told us the patio would be completed by the end of August. The paperwork we signed stated that they would start the structure once the cement cures (he verbally told us about four weeks), and it would take about two weeks to complete the structure. After months of my husband and I calling, texting, and emailing Scott, we were given the run around of excuses, such as; Scott's mother-in-law was sick in the hospital, he had three friends/acquaintances pass away, his mother-in-law passed away, he went out of the country to spread his mother-in-laws ashes, hurricane Ian hit and he was trapped out of the country for an additional week, he had surgery, etc. As of October 8, 2022, Scott quit returning all forms of communication. We have asked for a refund as well, but we received no response.
