I made an appointment on the website for Maaco and gave the make, model and year of my car and ask for a quote. The dropdown had my car listed and the information sent for the appointment had the same information. I traveled all the way to there location and was told they will not touch my car because it is a luxury car. I was told that they would not even look at it to give a quote. I did not want to paint the complete car just fix some dents. They advertise to call them any time you need a car repair with no exceptions to the type of car or model of car. This must be changed and will wait on your determination before proceeding forward. They knew the type of car and knew I was coming because I also called to confirm my appointment and said I was on my way.Business response

This was a simple error of not seeing the customer's online appointment before he arrived in the Porsche. He did call to say that he was running late for his 5:15 appointment, but did not state the type of vehicle. Unfortunately, we do not repair high end luxury cars due to the high quality of the finished product that those type of cars and owners deserve. We are a budget based auto body repair business that specializes in an affordable services. We apologize for your inconvenience of driving your vehicle to our facility and will do better at informing customers of the type of cars we provide service on. My vehicle was hit while it was in a parking lot and my front bumper was completely ripped off. I decided to take it to Maaco in Greenville. The vehicle was “repaired” per their standards. However, upon inspection, it was subpar at best as far as quality of work. Let me explain: 1-there are spaces between the bumper and headlights (I can put my finger through the space) 2-when you press the headlights with your pinky finger it moves back and fourth as if the headlights are secured properly 3-the hood is not flush, while driving you can see the hood rattling from the wind I took the car back and was told it was ready. Of course the spaces are bigger. I expressed my concerns and was told I could leave it there over the weekend. I said, “aren’t you closed on weekends?” Why would I do that? Be without my car all weekend when they’re closed. Needless to say I was told that the spaces were ok, and that was the best they could do. I want my car fixed the right way. They received over $3000 to fix a Honda Accord front bumper and somehow it’s a difficult task. More than likely because I’m a woman I’m being treated like an idiot. I brought this car brand new off the lot with zero miles. Suffice it to say, at 50 years old I know how the car should have looked after they charged all of this money. I don’t know what kind of issues will come about should these areas get water in them. I deserve good service just like everyone else.Business response

First, we want to apologize for the customer's frustration with the repairs. We also would truly like the opportunity to correct the issues and her frustration and turn her experience into a better one.
Maaco would like to schedule the 2011 Honda Accord for inspection and repair of issues. We will need the vehicle for the entire day to give us time to expose the issues and determine what is needed to correct.
We would ask Ms. ****** to call Maaco at 864-******** to schedule a time that is good for her.
