            I made reservations for two nights ( Aug. 18 and 19) at the Swamp Rabbit Inn ( Greenville Location) early last month, paying the bill in full up front as directed by the company's website booking system. Our plans changed, and last Thursday ( July 28), I reached out to cancel the reservation. Since that time, I have made repeated requests to cancel the reservation - both via text as the hotel's website recommends, and via the website's contract form. Initially, someone responded they would get back to me the next day. When I attempted to contact them again they put me off again, and have heen unresponsive since Friday. The bill was for over $500, and that is a significant amount for my family. I would like a refund.

            From a guest perspective this inn is a complete scam. Happily took our money, but when it came time to receive an access code before check in it never arrived. This “business” doesn’t answer their phone or respond to messages/emails. Finally someone texted me, but only to taunt me about our predicament. This isn’t a legitimate hotel. Do not stay here by any means! I have no idea how they still have a business license.
