      My daughter found her dress here and it was beautiful. We paid over $3000 and then had to pay @ $800 in alterations and that was ok. Then my mom and I both found and bought our dresses here also over $600 each and then about $650 in alterations. Which the sizes were ordered more than 2 sizes too big. We tried to get them to change the size, but they wouldn't, so we had to keep them in the bigger sizes and then pay a lot to reshape them and remake the dresses. Which Rebecca and Jessica were super professional. Dimitra as a store and business has a no return or exchange policy. So it doesn't matter what reason or problem you have you are stuck. My problem was when I ordered my husband's suit $255.00 ordered in July and didn't come in until the Thursday of the wedding late which was September 8, 2022. It is his fault he didn't try the entire thing on. But we had a lot going on and then Saturday, day of the wedding he put his shirt on and the sleeves came to his elbows and the length came down to his knees. The color looked totally different when he was next to the wedding party. So he didn't wear it because it would have looked off. He wore his own suit then. My disappoint was that Dimitra wouldn't do one thing, not a credit of anything, the girl even went to the manager and the Manager didn't even come to talk to me, very disappointed. With the amount of money spent, I would have expected something.

      When placing special order purchases for the dresses we take measurements of the clients bust, waist and hips. We then review the size chart with the client prior to making a size choice. In this case we decided on a size 14 for both mother of the bride and Grandma of the bride. We chose this size to accommodate for the waist. If we would have ordered a smaller size the dresses would not fit in the waist. It’s always easier to take a dress in than to let a dress out. All sizes were discussed prior to signing the contracts and placing the order. The suit rentals come in the week of the event. They arrive either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. This gives us plenty of time to order replacements if need be. The client didn’t address any issues when he tried on the suit. He said, “The suit fits great.” If he would have addressed concerns with the fit, we would have had plenty of time to make the adjustments. As for the color of the suit, he got the color that he chose so this is what he received.

      I shouldnt have to give them 1 star. I paid for a dress to be ordered they explained the dress will have to be ordered and made but they cant place the order until the next week. So I found a dress the next day and requested a refund. The employees that work there told me there is no manager there to talk to and I wouldnt get a refund. Then change their story and explained the manager is there but they are part time and wouldnt call me back nor the owner to waist there time on a non refund. They told me the money is in the store and dress still not ordered. However they will not refund me. Buy are beware.

      The customer, ******** *****, shopped in our store on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. She tried on approximately 10 gowns for her 15th birthday celebration and selected one. The dress was not the right size, but she and her mother, who was the pay source accompanying her, decided to purchase the dress and order it in the correct size. ******** was measured, weighed, and sized for the gown and the order was rang up in our POS system. At the time of the transaction ********’s mother asked if sales were final and was told yes, they were by her sales associate. At that point the mother stated she wanted to wait, speak with her husband/family, and call back to purchase/place order the next day. ******** and her mother left the store at 2:50PM on November 23, 2021. Due to the unique nature of the formalwear industry, most retailers subscribe to the policy of all sales final. The only exception to this at Dimitra Designs is in the rare case we are unable to deliver the product sold. In this instance we were fully capable of providing the product sold on time for the wear date provided by the customer. On Friday, November 26, 2021, the ********’s mother, called and paid in full for the dress to be order purchasing the gown with the sales associate who answered the phone. The transaction was approved, and the gown was ordered on Friday, November 26, 2021. On Monday, November 29, 2021, ********’s mother, called the store stating she wanted a refund for the dress. She called multiple times using the names *********, *********, and **** speaking to multiple associates demanding a refund and refusing to accept being told verbally on November 23, 2021, all sales are final. The mother and father have consistently been given the same information as well documented in our point-of-sale system. We refunded her the $35 shipping charge for the special-order-purchase as the order would not be shipped and $50 for our store not having to take deliver or stock the piece; this is part of our pricing for costs we incur to have the gown delivered, press it, and for the protective garment bag it is delivered in, to the purchasing customer. This $85 was refunded to the card immediately upon request. She was otherwise, as repeatedly told, issues a store credit good for one-year for the difference. Her store credit may be used to purchase in stock merchandise or for a special-order-purchase. A special-order-purchase must be of equal or greater value to the store credit. The store owner was out of the country at the time of this transaction but called the mother upon her return and reinforced the already stated store policies. This purchase was made on Friday, November 26, 2021, and the dress was ordered that day. The review alleges the customer purchased another dress the next day and requested the refund. She requested the refund on Monday, November 29, 2021, giving different associates scenarios, all of which refute her review; the event was cancelled, they could not secure the venue, they no longer needed a formal dress. It was never told to anyone she purchased another dress until she spoke to the store owner on Saturday, December 18, 2022. ********’s store credit remains valid for one-year from the date of issue. We look forward to serving ******** in the future.

      This is incorrect I stated I purchase the dress somewhere else the next day and called for the refund. I was told the dress was ordered from the warehouse but I was told the warehouse was closed and would get a refund once the money was sent back to the store. Furthermore The employee I spoke with said I would get a refund and when the owner return she and I spoke. The owner said she would call me back after asking the employee if she said I would get a refund and did return my call stating she had to fire the employee for telling me I would get the return. I have this on a recorded call. So THE STATMENT ABOVE IS A LIE. We also only tried on one dress another lie we tried multiple dresses. We was never told all sells is final. This is why she fired her own employee and didn’t stand behind her on employee as she stated on a recorded call but I wouldn’t bet that she did fire her this was just a way to not give a refund. The above listing writer is not who we delt with or even spoke to at the store but continue to call me a liar.
