Stay away from this business/ person. Jamar is a known thief that takes peoples money or don't pay for work/ equipment used for the work he provides. He claims that he will pay but never does. Recommend reading each review on Google and every other site, everything people say is true. He comes out with a bunch of excuses to not refund,pay. He has no tools or equipment for concrete jobs as well.

*******, you initiate verbal agreements with individuals and companies so there is no paper trail to confirm what you are being paid for. However, it is interesting that you claim you have not received payment, when payment has to be made prior to you delivering equipment and you are the sole party responsible for pickup of said equipment. Furthermore, your business model is to serve individuals and companies who need equipment to complete certain tasks. Unsure why that would be a cause for concern. Your only purpose is to serve companies and individuals by providing equipment they don’t have either due to mechanical failures, increased need due to larger projects, or rare use. In our case, we don’t typically use the equipment you provided on a daily basis but due to the size of the project you were contracted for, additional equipment was required. Finally, the defamation of our character and reputation resulting from the “thieving” accusation is unnecessary, unprofessional, and unappreciated and is also grounds for legal action as we have every receipt and text documentation showing you were paid, not only in full, but upfront prior to your delivery. We are not responsible for any additional fees you created after our agreement was fulfilled.

Description: This company Concrete Masters and owner Jamar W****, should be banded for doing business. Total misrepresentation of concrete services. Their concrete finishing is a total waste of resources, Jamar Will not back up work which is unacceptable and the fact that Jamar W**** is a business man is a JOKE, he lies and continued promises My project started in April 2022 and I finally had to restart and reinstall the entire project with another company in September and pay double for a simple slab. I worked wit Jamar and his Lies as long as I could, in the interim I lost my building contractor due to continued delays on the concrete. I am now taking this entire issue to Court, I advised Mr W**** of this and his only concern was if I would take down any negative Reviews about him and Concrete Masters. Company should be renamed Concrete Disasters, many folks have had similar cases with Jamar W****. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Desired Outcome: Investigate and report findings of this Jamar W**** Concrete Masters. Prevent future issues especially Senior citizens, suspension of Business license if he has one

****, While we appreciate your feedback, it is necessary to mention the important details and discrepancies in your complaint. The issues regarding your slab occurred during the curing process. We discussed, both verbally and in writing, that it is recommended to wait until the completion of the 30-day curing period before making any alterations to the slab to which you insisted we return expeditiously to “do something about it”. The defect did not affect the entire slab, as it was a single crack only in the center of the slab that expanded just enough to be filled. We gladly returned at your convenience to fill the area and remedy the situation. However, as mentioned, due to the remedy attempt taking place prior to the end of the curing period, the initial remedy was unsuccessful. Beforehand, we cautioned that this would occur, and stressed the importance of allowing time for the slab to reach maximum strength before deciding on options for remedy. Rather than allow us to follow through with the additional fill, you insisted that the entire slab be replaced because you assumed it was poured at less than the standard four-inch depth. After we discussed that the defect does not fall under the guidelines to warranty a full replacement, you then promised you would pay for materials if we agreed to perform the labor at no cost to you, to which we agreed. Upon demolition of the slab, as you witnessed, the true depth happened to be just at five inches throughout the entire slab. Once completed, you demanded a refund to compensate for the replacement material, which, needless to say, was the opposite of what we previously agreed upon. Also, you mentioned losing a building contract. We are unsure how that occurrence relates to our performance as the slab being referenced was a driveway extension. In conclusion, we apologize that you feel inconvenienced, and are grateful to have done business with you. Good luck with your new driveway!
