      ***** *******I wanted dental implants for my lower teeth. I have insurance with ***** ****** the Lady at smile again said they did work with the dental company they sent in a claim to ***** ****** claim number *************** I got the loan for $18,700 to get the procedure done. My procedure is not completed. They tell me they don't work with the dental Insurance companies and they want an additional 9000 to complete the work, I believe I was deceived they told me they did work with the dental Insurance companies. The claim they sent in was not complete it's missing Dr. information. I asked for the additional information so I could send it to the dental company and they refused to give me the information, so now I'm out $18,700 and my dental work is not complete. I need them to send the information to my dental Insurance company to complete the claim.

      In response to the complaint from *** ***** we unfortunately are not in network with any insurance.  We are strictly fee for service.  As a courtesy we do print a claim for the patient and mail it in to their insurance company.  *** **** came in for a consultation on 1/12/2023.  In that consultation it was explain to the patient we are not in network with insurance.  We also informed *** **** that as a courtesy we could mail a claim for him, but we do not know how much if any that the insurance might reimburse him.  *** **** chose to move forward and opted to use a 3rd party finance to pay for his 1st phase of treatment in the amount of $18,700.  His 2nd phase cost is $4,300, which would complete his treatment.  *** **** he had his surgery done in our North Charleston location  on 2/1/2024 and all the rest of his appointments have been in our Greenville location.  We mailed a claim for him the following week after surgery.  *** **** then called our office in March.  He stated he had correspondence with the insurance and they stated they needed additional information.  I reached out to ***** ****** for *** **** to try to resolve the issue.  I spoke with several people at ***** ****** and they directed me to ****** ****.  She informed me that they needed to update all of the addresses for Dr. F****.  An updated W9 for his locations was email to Ms. P***.  *** **** came came in to the office last month and stated he had spoken with one of the representatives at ***** ****** and they informed him that the process to update that information and process his claim will take some time.  He told us he did not realize that it was a lengthy process and apologized for his impatience.  I told *** **** if he had any other questions or needed anything else from us to please let me know.  He has not contacted us further.
