I subscribed to their monthly health coaching program (which included nutritional supplements) in November 2023. I kept the service for November, December & January and didn't use it, so decided to cancel it. I called their offices multiple times in February and left messages to cancel the subscription. I was never able to talk to a live person. I left messages with all my details, and I also connected through the web form on their site to no avail. I finally disputed the February, March & April charges with my bank. After filing the dispute with my bank in April, someone from The Health Dare finally called me. They tried to understand why I wanted to cancel. I explained that I just wasn't using the service. The lady I spoke with agreed to cancel out my services. It is now a month later and it is May. The Health Dare has charged my card again *******. I don't know how to make them stop. The total amount of money I've paid to this company is *******. I am only requesting a refund for the 4 of the 7 monthly payments. The first 3 payments were legitimate. The last four have continued after requesting the subscription to be canceled. I am looking for confirmation of cancelation and a refund of *******

I am totally disgusted and appalled by this company. They do NOT do what they say when its a 30 day money back guarantee if you are not satisfied!!! First, on July 18, 2023, I felt very pressured in signing up in the first place, Coach Anna, kept calling me telling me I needed to sign up by certain time and day to get my discount, etc. So reluctantly, I did sign up, it was very expensive, and I gave them 2,000.00 in cash and then financed the rest over 3,000.00 as they suggested with Affirm. I was told over and over again by Coach Anna, that I didnt have anything to lose, that if i wasnt satisfied they give you your money back after 30 days. I was given a discount to begin with because I didnt sign on with my husband it was me by myself, and again, i was told by Coach Anna and by Bridget through text that I had to wait for the full 30 days before a refund would be issued if that was the case. Well I had several personal things to come up in the beginning of starting this program, I tried to follow it like I was told, took pics of my food, took down a food journal, exercised, but I had no success. After my 30 days, I requested a refund, and Bridget said I didnt qualify because I got a discount at the beginning. This is such a lie and a breech of contract!!! I have papers that I signed stating I would get my money back after 30 days and a text/email from Bridget stating I could get a refund after 30 days!!!! Now, im stuck with payments for a program I can not even do or that I am satisfied with!! DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR TACTICS!!!! Wished i would have saw the BBB reviews before I had signed up, because apparently this is what they do to several people!!! TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!

****** received the full value of the program at a $1,000 off discounted rate, which included medical lab testing, groceries, and extensive coaching. She then demanded a refund, and did not qualify for one at this time. We will not be granting a refund to this client, as she has already received the full VIP program benefits, and at a highly discounted rate. This has been explained multiple times to her, along with the terms of the contract that she signed at the beginning.

The health dare is filled out lies from the people working the company, as me and my mom started the program we did the 30 days and was not satisfied. They added another 30 days because I had knee surgery for the eval I still didn’t see results as me and my mom was doing everything correct, when we mentioned we wanted to cancel many times they kept going around the book why we would stay I put out a 3k loan with ****** and the health dare changed my contract and didn’t mentioned when we were started we are not qualified for a refund because we got a discount. This is a horrible company they state everywhere 30 day money back guarantee and want to take all your money. If the health care states something else everything is a lie the products they gave us did not work! And I need a refund ****** is on my credit and I feel like if we didn’t have results that 30 day guarantee should go in effect. Going around the book with excuses the health dare is doing is horrible. Matter of fact is they are ignoring what we are saying and just keep telling us to schedule Evaluations what’s the point to keep talking with no refund? The food they sent us to eat for affordable option me and my mom did not like and they want to keep sending what we can eat they don’t understand the meaning of stop!

We regret that the client feels this way, but this is simply not true. ******** came to us for help with weight loss, and we gave her a $600 discount on the program in order to help her fit her budget. She had buyer's remorse a week into the program and demanded a refund. We explained that she could not apply for a refund until her 30 day weigh-in and evaluation, which she refused to do. She became angry and demanded her money back when the payments came due, but we have tried to explain to her that her debt is not owed to The Health Dare; rather, ****** financing. Although ****** carries our product on their mobile app (like many other products at ******* *******, etc.), they are NOT associated with our coaching company, and she must take up this complaint with her credit financing company. We wish her the best, and truly hope that she will take advantage of all The Health Dare can offer her.

ACCORDING TO THIS COMPANY'S ADVERTISEMENTS, THEY SAY IF YOU ARE NOT COMPLETELY SATISFIED IN 30 DAYS YOU ARE ABLE TO GET A FULL REFUND. LIES! I AM NOT SATISFIED, I HAVE NOT LOST ANY WEIGHT AS THEY CLAIM AND I FOLLOWED ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS I WAS GIVEN. THEY KEEP TELLING ME TO HANG IN THERE. MEANWHILE I AM HAVING TO PAY A ;$3K LOAN FOR THIS PROGRAM. I HAVE REQUESTED MY MONEY BACK SEVERAL TIMES AND THEY EITHER NEVER ANSWER ME, OR CALL ME AND ASK ME FOR MORE MEASUREMENTS AND LOGS OF MY TRACKING OF MY MEALS. I WANT A FULL REFUND AS PROMISED.

This is a false accusation. We have exchanged numerous emails with this client. Our coaching team has tried to contact Beth numbers times for weigh-ins, phone calls, classes and support. She refused our services, demanding a refund from week one. She has been told if she will simply attend her weigh-in, then she can submit a refund. She refused to do this, and even tried to falsify her original numbers with white-out on her weigh-in form. We are at a loss as to how to resolve this complaint, since she refuses to do the basic steps to which will allow her to have success on the program, or eventually a money-back guarantee if she does not see results after doing the program and communicating with the coaches for 30 days.

6/25/22 I sign up for Health dare (receipt enclosed) buy one get one (bogo). The bogo offer ended in June (per health dare rep). I had a vacation coming up and didn't want to be dieting, they replied no problem the program could start when I got back. 6/28/22 plan starts (copy of orientation zoom meeting email). 8/29/22 The 30-day evaluation done. My partner had lost a few pounds, but id gained weight, so I requested to stop program and get a refund. My request was turned down (copy of 8/31 email provided) because I was given a "special deal and it didn’t qualify for a refund". I responded back (same email) the contract reads that if one person has results and one doesn’t I would be eligible for a 50% discount (copy enclosed), again my request was denied. I dispute charge for $**** w/Visa and it's reversed.......end of October Health dare disputed the chargeback, stating because the start date was 6/25 and I didn’t cancel until 8/29 the 30 day window had passed. Visa reversed the charge in health dares favor and I wasn’t notified. Paying cc bill in Nov I see the charge but I'm told its too late to dispute it. Health dare pressured me to sign up on 6/25 due to the bogo deal ending soon (in July the bogo was still going on, so that was a lie. Health dare also told me we could start later and the 30-day guarantee would start on whatever day we started (again a lie since this was the excuse they used to fight my cc dispute). Per Health Dare, the deal I signed up for didn’t qualify for any type of refund (because it was a "special deal"). This was definitely not what I was told, or in the contract I signed. Who would pay $**** for a program with no money back guarantee? I surely wouldn’t. Health dare dealt in bad faith with me and then lied to me and Visa. Just know if you try Health Dare, there is NO money back guarantee regardless of what they say or what the contract says.

***** ********* had amazing results on the program in the first 4 weeks, and lost 8 lbs of fat, 6.5 inches, lost 2.6% body fat and gained 1% muscle. In spite of her health and mobility limitations, ***** communicated with our coaches, attended classes and evaluations, and followed our customized program the best she could. *****, however, did not follow instructions and did not have good results at his 4 week evaluation. ***** was not denied a refund because the "30 days ran out," but only because ***** had such great results. We paused his program twice, once for vacation and once for COVID. We are happy to extend an additional 30 days for both ***** and *****, so that they can continue to have the results they so desperately need. The ********** also received a $*** discount on The Health Dare program, combined with a buy-one-get-one free program to help ***** with her medical symptoms. At the time of the purchase, our coaching team went over the money-back guarantee, and ***** initialed all documents. These are false allegations, as the bank has sided with our company as well. The coaching notes from their 4 week evaluation state "***** demanded a refund and ***** hardly said a word. Congratulated her at the start about how she did above average on markers especially with all of her health issues." ***** did not follow the meal plan or the excercise, even though the coaching team advised him many times that drinking tea and eating cheese with multiple meals would not improve his diabetic condition. We are thrilled that we were able to help *****, and we hope that ***** will not stand in the way of her ongoing success.

May 25, 2022 I had my initial consultation. That day steps were taken to enroll in the program - including obtaining my personal information as well as my husband's. This day there were 2 contracts that I was asked to complete, one with Affirm (the financing company) and one from The Health Dare. I did not complete either of these contracts as I chose not to proceed with the program. The ****** account was issued with my husband's information and I have not been able to speak with anyone about it with that company. I contacted the health dare and requested that a refund be issued as we had a financial impairment, and no docs were ever completed. I was told that in order to qualify for a refund I would need to complete 30 days of the program and not lose weight. I felt that was the only option I had, so I did the program for 30 days. I requested a refund from the company again today and they stated that they would need a log of all my food to show that I have been trying to follow the program.

Unfortunately, this complaint is simply not true. Alyshia completed our full contract, attached here. She began the program on Seotenber 30th, at which time she received all of our materials in the mail. Alyshia attended several classes and coaching calls. However, on October 6, she informed us that her husband was fired from his job and demanded a full refund. We offer a full money-back guarantee after 30 days on the program, but she refused to complete the 30 days and threatened to go to the Better Business Bureau, which she did. According to item #7 of our liability waiver, she is in breach of contract and this complaint cannot be legally posted or received by the BBB. Although we understand hardship and financial difficulty, our company cannot be slandered due to her personal hardship when our team coached her diligently, and followed all steps promised.

We are very sorry that this client’s husband lost his job while on our program. However, your program was paid for with a third party credit card that you applied for. We are not responsible for this. We are happy to extend or freeze your program during this difficult time for your family. However, we cannot allow you to accuse our company integrity because of your financial situation. You came to us with health problems, signed a 9 page contract, and did several weeks of coaching with us before your husband lost his job. We provided excellent customer service for your health and wellness program, and we are waiting to continue helping you resolve your health issues.

My wife and I entered the program in November of 2021. At our consultation we were assured that the program was custom fit to fit any lifestyle and if it wasn’t working that someone would be available to change things to help. We explained to her that we have tried many times to lose weight and nothing seemed to help. She explained to us that if we weren’t satisfied when would be given a refund. We followed the directions completely and after a few weeks with ZERO change we began to request help from my coach. The coach suggested changes a few things which we did, after that when we expressed our concern she really didn’t know what to tell us. She told my wife that she may want to get her hormones checked. At the weigh in we weren’t shocked when we barely lost weight, we were shocked when they told us that we lost all these inches, which we didn’t. They tried to tell me I lost 6 inches around my waist. There was no way especially since my pants fit the exact same. They measured extremely lose the first time and tight at the weigh in. When we expressed our disbelief in their measurement to lbs lost ratio we were told it’s calculated weight loss, not actual pounds lost. I informed the coach that is not what was told to us at our initial visit. We were promised actual results that we could see. When we told her we would not be continuing, she said we were not able to get a refund based on their findings. Which brought me back to the loose/tight measuring. We offer to pay for the month that they “coached” us but wanted a refund for the rest of it. They told us no. I’d advise anyone thinking if joining this program to look elsewhere.

      Response:
Mr. ******** lost 10 lbs of fat in four weeks, and Mrs. ******** lost 5.5 lbs in four weeks on The Health Dare. This is a very healthy amount of weight to lose, especially because they only followed about 50% of the instructions on the program. They received a significant scholarship discount when they signed up, because they could not afford the standard packages. They paid with a third party loan that is not associated with The Health Dare, which they disputed as fraudulent, claiming they never paid the money and someone had "stolen their credit card." They have accused our team of lying after we diligently coached them for 30 days. Mrs. ******** was extremely rude and raised her voice to our coach at their 30 day evaluation, which her husband called and apologized for on behalf of his wife the day after. They received a warning email from management about this on January 18th. Had they not disputed our charges as fraudulent, we would likely have refunded them and removed them from the program. We pride ourselves in integrity not only within our team, but in our client base as well. We hope they will find what they are looking for, and we regret we could not help them.

She told me if I didn’t loose at least 10lbs in the first 30 days I would get a refund. At my first 30 day check in,I learned that I had gained 5lbs. Madison told me I was probably Over eating, when I told her what I was eating she then said I wasn’t eating enough. When I started to ask questions about the refund, they said I didn’t follow the plan. Then they told me they would give me an advanced plan for free and an extra month for free. I hit the wrong button

I NEVER refused to do the program.I NEVER hung up on anyone.

For them to say I refused to do the program after literally giving them a large percentage of my life savings makes no sense .
Because of the fact that after 30 day on the program it wasn’t working for me, and they offered to extend my program and give me the advanced level at no additional cost.
This tells me they new it wasn’t working and would do anything to avoid paying the refund that they Promoted there program with.
And for them to say I lost 18 inches but gained 5 lbs makes no sense.Taking my Initial measurements with my coat on and the next time they made me take it off after I told them how we did the first one.
And finally I want to say how unprofessional this company has acted during my request for a refund.
They are being untruthful about the facts and taking shots at my character.

I am requesting assistance for a full refund of $4,124.75 from The Health Dare. I started the Health Dare on Sunday, July 18th, 2021 by drinking the powder mix, taking the supplements, and following the diet. I began feeling nauseous, experiencing shortness of breath, weakness, and I was extremely tired by the end of Monday night. I consistently communicated with the "Coach" who advised me to see my Primary Care Physician. Immediately my Doctor tested me for COVID-19 and the flu. An EKG was performed on me and it indicated that my heart rate was slow. My Doctor advised me to stop the powder mix, supplements, and diet immediately because of the adverse reactions I was experiencing. I continue to experience heart palpitations as a result of the powder mix, supplements, and diet. I sent a full detail of my experience on August 23rd. My request for a refund was denied after being told in the initial consultation that if the diet does not work for me, I could receive a full refund.

Good Afternoon Cindy, this is our response to complaint #********

Our coaching team sent you to the doctor a few days after you began the program because you were exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms. We asked you to see your doctor out of concern for your health. We are sorry to hear that your doctor did not approve of your recommended supplements. The supplements recommended were an immune-building Vitamin C blend. We find it alarming that your doctor would dissuade you from this, however, you should surely obey the doctor's orders if he feels you should not take Vitamin C. The vitamins are a third party recommendation so we cannot help you with this $39 refund. As far as the 90-day program, you never attended your coaching calls, classes, or weigh-in's, and you did not do the program as instructed. We cannot agree to a refund when there is no evidence you have done any part of our program.

Your husband coached with our team and enjoyed the program, and even inquired about continuing our coaching services! Since you received the buy-one-get-one-free discount secondary to his program, you will not receive a refund. We are happy to talk with your doctor about any questions he has regarding your program, however, there is no evidence that you even started the program, and you asked our coaching team for a refund before beginning it. We believe this is a severe case of buyer's remorse, and we wish you the best. We are glad your husband, however, enjoyed the program!

We are happy to offer a full complimentary re-start, along with 50 meals to jumpstart you! Please let us know when you would like to begin your free program!

Your response presents numerous false statements as your business, The Health Dare, continues to be misleading. I only want a full refund of $4,124.75. I do not want a complimentary restart or 50 meals to jumpstart.
Your 1st False Statement : As far as the 90-day program, you never attended your coaching calls, classes, or weigh-in's, and you did not do the program as instructed.
My Response: I participated in the first week of coaching calls and communicated via the app. I shared with my Coach the symptoms I was experiencing of heart palpitations, shortness of breath, and weakness, and fatigue. She initially told me that I was experiencing withdrawal symptoms from sugar. The second week, she advised me to see my Doctor. The first 2 sentences of your response provides full details of my coaching. You are making a false statement when you indicate I never attended coaching calls, classes, or weigh=ins. I was following the program, taking the supplements, and powder mix when I became ill.

Your 2nd False Statement: We cannot agree to a refund when there is no evidence you have done any part of our program.

My Response: I was told by Jerry that if the program did not work for me, then I would receive a full refund. The evidence I present clearly exhibits the program did not work for me. My health began to suffer and I began experiencing heart palpitations due to the ingredients in the powder mix and supplements. You never provided me with a copy of my terms of agreement. After you ran my credit, you only wanted money from me.

Your 3rd False Statement: , there is no evidence that you even started the program, and you asked our coaching team for a refund before beginning it. We believe this is a severe case of buyer's remorse, and we wish you the best.

There is evidence that I started the program because I had my intial weigh-in, attended orientation, and had coaching calls. I have text messages and voicemail messages as proof. I did not ask for a refund before beginning. I was excited about beginning the program. I contacted you for an appointment. My only regret is the negative effect your products have on my health and trusting salesman in a company that only want a customer’s money to move their business forward. You are not concerned about my health and well-being.

Unfortunately, these claims are simply not true. We advised ****** to see a doctor a few days after her sales meeting, because she was exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, not "detox symptoms." Vitamin C does not have negative side effects; quick the opposite as it is an immune booster.  We never saw her again in our office after her sales appointment, and she did not attend any coaching meetings throughout her 90 days, although we attempted to meet with her multiple times. It is impossible to coach a client who refuses to meet with their coach. We would be happy to give her a re-start, but since she is not willing to come in for her coaching sessions, we cannot issue a refund. Also, ****** was part of a buy one get one free package with her husband *****, who also refused to respond to our coaches or come in for his evaluation. We are happy to honor our 30 day money back guarantee, and we promise results or money back, however, clients must come in to the office and meet with the coach in order to qualify for this guarantee. ***** and **** have refused all meetings with our coaching staff. Again, we are happy to offer them a full re-start for a chance to qualify for the 30-day refund.

However, BBB does not verify the accuracy of information provided by third parties, and does not guarantee the accuracy of any information in Business Profiles.

When considering complaint information, please take into account the company's size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of complaints and a firm's responses to them are often more important than the number of complaints.

BBB Business Profiles generally cover a three-year reporting period. BBB Business Profiles are subject to change at any time. If you choose to do business with this business, please let the business know that you contacted BBB for a BBB Business Profile.

As a matter of policy, BBB does not endorse any product, service or business. Businesses are under no obligation to seek BBB accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought BBB accreditation.
