      On March 2, 2022, we contracted with Rave Renovation, 209 Pine Knoll Drive, Suite A, Greenville, SC 29609 for work to be done in our master bathroom. The job included: remove old walk-in shower, install new walk-in shower, install new flooring with baseboards and quarter round and repair necessary drywall. Work was completed on March 9, 2022. We have a two-car garage and one side of the garage is used as a woodworking shop and we rarely go into this side of the garage. On April 13, 2022, we opened the door to the woodworking shop side and the ceiling was buckled, there was water damage down the wall and the floor was soaked. We called our homeowner’s insurance company and filed a claim on April 13, 2022. They sent a remediation team on April 14, 2022, to dry out the woodwork shop side of the garage. It was determined by the remediator that the water stemmed from a leak under the newly installed walk-in shower. We contacted Rave Renovation regarding the leak. When the serviceperson from Rave Renovation came, he determined that the drain in the walk-in shower had not been properly installed and he re-installed it correctly. The serviceperson said he would be back in a few days to repair and paint the damaged drywall. On April 28, 2022, we were told that we would be put on the schedule for repairing and painting the damaged drywall. On May 5, 2002, we emailed Brian, the owner of Rave Renovation, to find out when the damaged drywall would be replaced and painted. His email response was “The serviceperson will be there on May 11, 2022.” Between May 11, 2022 and today, August 2, 2022, we have had multiple emails, voicemails and texts between us and Brian, the owner of Rave Renovation. The last time we contacted Brian, was July 20, 2022 and we were again assured that someone would take care of repairing and painting the drywall. As of today, August 2, 2022, our drywall has not been repaired or painted.
