I handed my Bernina 560 sewing machine (serial number ********) in for repairs in November 30, 2022. I am still waiting (March 2024) for the repairs to be completed. The touch screen pad is cracked and possibly other computer components need replacement. They indicated that they may be able to repair it under the warrantee. The dealership never contacted me to explain the reasons for the delay in repair. I called and also visited the store on a regular basis and every time I was made a promise that they will look into the situation and come back to me. These were mostly empty promises as they seldomly called me back. Early on they provided excuses of supply chain issues post Covid, technician being overloaded, promises of a new technician being trained etc. However, not once did they call unless prompted to offer a progress report. I also tried to speak to the technician, but he was never in. I am an established client and my profile can be found under **** ******** ******* in their client base. I delayed my complaint as I was/am aware of serious health issues of the owner. An attempt to solve the matter with Corporate Bernina was not successful as the costumer care system provides only a ticket number. They referred me back to the local dealer.
