Pathology Associates of Greenville did lab work on me in 2021. When I checked in they asked to verify that my medical insurance was ***** as primary and Medicare as secondary. I informed them it was not, and that Medicare was primary and ***** was secondary. They failed to change this. They have continually billed me for what they claim to be an unpaid balance. I have spoken with them three times on the telephone to explain they have the records wrong. The last time I spoke with them on the telephone, I spoke with a "Courtney." She told me to ignore the statements, and that she would correct the billing. She didn't, evidently. I wrote to Pathology Associates on August 18, 2021 complaining that not only had they failed to correct the situation, they had also incorrectly informed Medicare that I no longer had Medicare as my primary policy. Because of that, I have had to correct the situation with every medical provider I see. And I had to call Medicare on August 18 to correct this with them (spoke with operator #3000). They are continuing to bill me for a bill that is not owed them. I have rarely encountered such an inept operation. They handle their billing out of **** ********* ****** ******, OH 43614-1509. Their billing phone number is 800-********. My account number with them is *********. The amount is $134.20. I want them to: 1) correct the billing, 2) withdraw the file they created with the collection agencies, and 3) send me a written statement apologizing for the trouble they have put me through and assuring me all has been corrected.Business response

Account review completed. Insurance information was updated and the claim is now resolved. Patient has been notified.
