After watching the launch of the ** ******** featuring black astronaut *** ******* I ordered a 2020 model and received my car February 2021. I am active military so I ordered my car through a dealer close to my hometown in Atlanta. I traveled to pick the car up and deliver it back to my military placement town. Since then I encountered an issue with a tire. The tires are not worn out but one of them has split down the seam of the tire wall putting not only the car at risk for serious damage but also put me at risk as well. The split is not normal and seems like a defective tire. I currently have no confidence that the other tires are not as defective. I fear the other three tires will have the same issue and could have a life threatening result. I was forced to replace the damaged one. This high performance car was trusted to have Michelin tires come stock as one of the most important components on the car. I am currently researching to see if other C8 owners have had similar issues. This wasn't what I bargained for purchasing the car as a new member of the ******** family as GM marketed more to African American women by featuring *** *******. I have past experiences from a family member being affected by the Goodyear Tire scandal that had catastrophic impacts for many. It is my hope that Michelin provides a better product. I need someone from headquarters to contact me about this issue.

      Dear Cindy,

We received your email regarding ******** **** and appreciate the opportunity to respond.

I have reached out to ******** on the circumstances around the tire that had issues. The consumer had already replaced the tire that had a split in the bead area of the tire. We have reached out and offered to cover the tire cost of the tire that had the damage.
On review of the circumstances and damage of the one tire that had an issue, there is no current problem with the other three tires. If the other three tires start to have any kind of warranty issues, we will gladly start a warranty case on them.

If Ms. **** has any further questions or concerns, please have her reach out to our Corporate team at ************

Michelin tires purchased to tune of 718.04. $70 rebate was offered. I submitted online and was told it would be 6 weeks to process. I never received anything and just contacted their customer service at Michelinrewardscenter.com and was told that they sent out a virtual visa card by email and they cannot resend it. I never got any emails from them. If I did it was disguised to look like spam so I would erase it.

Michelin Hello I have an issue I believe you can assist with. Last summer I replaced the tires on my motorcycle with new top of the line Michelins.   They were rated as the best tire, and were priced accordingly. The front tire has developed a vibration , something very dangerous for a 2 wheeled vehicle.   When I called the shop that installed them Gary said he’d call me back. He informed me Michelin was aware they had an issue with that tire and redesigned the tread pattern to eliminate it.  Now for the fun part: Michelin wants us to remove their tire, mail it to Utah, at my expense, so they can examine it.  After that they’d issue a pro-rated allowance.  The allowance would not even cover the cost of returning the tire to them.  It’s less than one year old with about 2000 miles on it. Why is it that if I have an issue with tires at ******** ****, ****, ****** or any other dealer, it’s taken care of on the spot. Our other vehicles have Michelin tires, but it won’t be what I replace them with if this is not taken care of. Why when Michelin is aware of the issue, don’t they place the safety of their customers above everything else???  I guess the old ad with the baby in the tires don’t count if it’s a motorcycle tire. A tire on a vehicle, that it there’s an issue with one could result in a tragedy?? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated **** ******* ************ ***** * ** *****

I was looking for a set of track tires to take my bmw racing. I didn’t look for recommendations because im putting it on a track I wanted a track tire. Found the track tire that I wanted, sourced it to another website because Michelin won’t sell it to you themselves, 1500$ and a day later they tell me the tire don’t exist. If the tire don’t exist then why is it on their website telling me exist letting me spend 1500$ to find out it’s not.

May 1st 2023, I bought 4 sets of Michelin Tires from a local tire store and Michelin had promotion rebate for my purchase. I submitted the invoice of my purchase to Michelin online rebate website. I have not recevied any rebate. I emailed Michelin rebate program with no response. I called directly asking the status. Their staff told me the check was returned because shipping address issue and will re-send me a new one. My address is correct and there is no problem for receiving any other letters or deliveries. It has been one month still not received the check for rebate.

We will be glad to assist the customer with any information the tire manufacturer (Michelin) needs, they may require tread depth readings, date of install, part number and DOT number of tires.

I contacted Michelin to get a recommendation on new tires for my 2020 Lexus RX350. I was advised that the newly made ******** * was highly recommended due to its longevity and quiet, safe and comfortable ride. I took the advice and had them installed on 10/19/23. The were quiet and provided a decent ride but not the best traction in comparison to other Michelin tires I have owned, I work from home and don’t drive much so I decided to let them wear a bit to see if there was improvement. Today I had an appointment at Lexus to have routine maintenance completed, which included a tire rotation, and was provided with a report. The tires depth after 3,000 miles is down to 7mm (10.5) new and they wet traction is worse then ever. Even the tech at Lexus said they do not feel right. I contacted Michelin to start a warranty request and was advised I had to have an analysis completed and I would get a prorated offer to replace my tires. This is unacceptable! I paid $1037.92, drove 3,000 miles on unsafe tires that are wearing excessively. I should not have to incur any costs as I put my faith in a product that clearly is not safe. I would like a refund from Michelin so I can choose a tire that will be safe for me and my family. Not much to ask for

On 11-21-23 I purchased 2 sets of tires from **** ****, I bought BF Goodrich Trail Terrain T/A tires that came with a $100@set rebate. I promptly tried to submit my receipts online but it wouldn’t accept them because it said they were too big. So I took a pic of them and mailed the originals to the rebate fulfillment address. I didn’t hear anything so I retried sending online and it went, I received an email saying I had been approved and would be getting a $200 card in the mail in 4-6 weeks. Nothing came so I contacted them 4-3-24 and now they say I submitted too late and they won’t pay me. This rebate was called Black Friday rebate and was for $100 per set off any BF Goodrich Terrain series tires. Thank you

4 months ago I submitted my rebate and received acknowledgment and got the claim number in this email they said i have to wait 6-8 weeks. so I have been waiting for 4 months, i did not receive any update or money, so I called that number. I was surprised to hear that my claim was not approved because I did not submit a "bill of sale" instead I submitted an order confirmation with sales information in it. so because of this, I got rejected, and nothing I can do now because the promotion rebate is already closed. remember every store has a different kind of bill of sale, in this case, I never have an official bill of sales from ***************, the order confirmation is a bill of sales because it has the sales information on it. so I think this is a scam trick that they are playing they just never send any updates and wait until the promotion rebate window closes then waiting for the customer to complain (if the customer even remembers about the rebate) then after that tell the customer that they are not approved because the title of the sales receipt is not "bill of sale" even though has the sale information in it. So I would like to prevent others get into the same scam I would like to report this to you, and if possible rectify what they are doing is completely wrong, to scam people like that. I don't remember now the total rebate perhaps $80-125 for all 4 tires.
