On September 1, 2021, Better Business Bureau launched an investigation against Parcel Patrol Logistics LLC in regards to its business practices and employment duties after receiving multiple submission to the BBB Scam Tracker. The business appears to be legitimate in regards to its registration with SC Secretary of State and it claims to be located at a warehouse facility in Greenwood SC. BBB has confirmed with the real estate listing agent that the property location in Greenwood, SC is a privately owned property that is currently for sale and no logistics business by the name of Parcel Patrol Logistics LLC is or ever has been located at that property location.

BBB received a total of (5) Scam Tracker submissions and (1) phone call from consumers regarding this business's hiring processes and job duties. Each consumer/employee stated they were either contacted by a company representative after reviewing their online profile on other job listing sites or the consumer themselves applied for the job after seeing in public job listing forums. Consumers/Employees stated they were hired via phone interviews, no face-to-face or virtual interviews, and after completing the hiring process and providing personal and banking information for payment, consumers/employees started to receive packages. They were to open and inspect those packages for any damage, print a new shipping label with the information provided through the employee dashboard, repackage and reship the packages to the new address provided on the new label. The consumers/employees were promised significant monthly salaries with additional bonuses for shipped packages, however, when time arrived for paychecks to be direct deposited into the employee's bank account, no payment ever arrives. When consumers/employees then try to make contact via email or phone to their supervisors, they receive no responses by email and all phone numbers no longer seem to work.

BBB has made multiple attempts to reach a representative with Parcel Patrol Logistics LLC by email and phone. All emails go unanswered and all phone numbers go to an immediate busy signal, no ringing and no voicemail options. 

BBB recommends consumers thoroughly research any company that you are attempting to obtain employment through; be cautious of job offers with high-paying positions and salaries that require little to no experience, educational training, or licensing; be wary of job offers that do not require in-person or virtual interviews rather than phone, text, or emails; and never divulge confidential or personal information via phone, text, or email before checking a company's legitimacy.
