We traded in a car that we bought but still owed money on for a car lease with the agreement that as part of the trade they pay off the loan on the traded vehicle and the rest of the trade in value is applied to the lease cost. Now Fred Anderson Toyota still hasnt paid off the trade in loan nor has the initial deposit been applied to the loan or returned to us as promised. We have tried to reach them for the last 2 week and can’t get anyone from the finance department to call us back. Main number can give us any central contact to go above the local dealership. We just want a resolution.

This has been handled.  This issue was due to the CYBER ATTACK and 15,000 dealerships that were affected.  We apologize that the customer had to wait longer than normal.   We have sent the payoff to the bank and we actually have refunded the customer with a $500 check for the deposit she put down.  This has been resolved and again we apologize it took longer than normal due to system outages.

I have called Toyota of Greer, Fred Anderson, for the last six months regarding a warranty that was cancelled. They need to cut a check to my bank and have yet to do so and it is approximately 10k. No one will return my calls and the front desk keeps transferring me to a voice mail that no one responds to.

The GM John A******** sent the customer an e-mail just wanting to verify the incident before cancelling and never heard a response.  The Finance Director today called and text the customer to get confirmation of cancelling the products.  Once **** ****** calls the Finance Director back, Accounting is on standby to cancel the products but we need her to call the Finance Director to confirm all information so that we can finalize and complete.

Once she calls the Finance Director today we will handle everything...

Purchased a 2009 Scion from Fred Anderson Toyota of Greer on 04/29/24. The vehicle was paid in full that day. I was told all documents and title would be mailed to me. I had received ONLY the tag and the registration, but NOT the title. I had made multiple phone calls to the business on the week of 06/03/24 t0 06/09/24, and each and every time the front desk sent my call to the voicemail. I don't remember all the names, but I believed one of the people they sent me to the voice mail was Shannon. I had left at least 3 separate voicemails, but not one person would return my call. I do not believe it would take six or seven weeks to retrieve a car title, as the car was not financed. It seemed like they were avoiding me and refused to return my calls. This definitely showed the sign of ill will and bad intent and bad business practice, and possible fraud. I would like their immediate resolution to this matter. Thank you.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.  We confirmed that the tag work was processed by the DMV and the title was mailed to the customer by the DMV on 5/17/24.  Titles do not come from the dealership, but rather from the DMV. We spoke to the customer and believe the title was likely lost in the mail.  In a show of good faith, we provided the customer for a reimbursement of the fee to receive a duplicate title from the DMV since the other one was never delivered to them.  We are thankful for the opportunity to assist this customer and resolving this concern!
