On August 25, 2021, BBB opened an investigation into the business practices of MyMissingPieceShop.com. At the time, BBB had received five consumer complaints in reference to not receiving orders placed online of personalized memorial items in memory of lost loved ones nor any response to numerous attempts to reach the business regarding the purchases or refunds. BBB was eventually able to make contact with the business owner in regards to the complaints and expressed the need to receive responses to the complaints, which the owner agreed to respond.
To date, BBB has not received any further response from the business owner. BBB advises consumers to exercise extreme caution when considering purchases with this business.
