I rented a motel room at south of the border for 1 night stay 8/20/22 and I found blood on the sheets front desk and security refused to take sheets and asked me to dispose of sheets with biohazard on them when we have a cdc warning of monkey pox and this motel has soiled sheetsBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/09/07) */ When Miss ******** informed the front desk that she had found a stain on her sheets, the desk clerk tried to take the sheets so that they could be sent back to the laundry and Miss ******** keot the sheets and would not give them to the desk clerk. The desk clerk offered to move Miss ******** to another room and she declined. She stayed in the room she complained about all night and then expected a refund the next day. I felt our clerk had tried to resolve the matter when she tried to get her to take another room.Initial Complaint

name is ***** ********* I stopped this hotel for August 14-15 upon arriving I encountered two rude women checking people in. My husband is a veteran of the United States Army, I told them we were military they basically laughed at me saying that if he wasn't with me we couldn't get a discount on our room to stay. Ok I left went online and booked a stay for the night went back to check in, my wallet was stolen while we were on vacation so I only had my temporary identification card and my old expired identification card I also had my school Id my social security card and my debit card ik which I booked the the room. Initially the lady made several comments about them not having any rooms available it seemed she was making any excuse possible to not rent me a room even though I'd already paid, but she informed mr that my temporary nc identification wouldn't work to rent the room that I'd already paid for. I escalated the situation because they were very rude and condescending I went next door in tears we've traveled a long way we just wanted to rest, I walked next door had security called. Then had to explain the situation to them and they made the call ti the motel and told me to go back that I shouldn't have any problem getting the room now. I go back she's again very very rude laughing and making smart comments and she tells me that they cancelled my reservation and that I had to pay the full amount for my room and that it was higher now due to my childrens age. And that my card would be refunded so I had no choice but to pay almost 80 again for a room that'd I already paid for by credit card. On top of all the rudeness and the laughing at me and giving me every excuse in the world to not rent a room to myself and my children I had to pay way more for the room didn't get a discount from my aarp.And I've still not gotten any kind of refund from them. I had three kids all under 17 not three adults in the room and myselfBusiness response
