This HVAC company is absolutely terrible. I made an appointment for service on my AC. I know the owner through one of my previous jobs where he, badly, installed all the new AC units. I reached out to him when I was having problems due to desperation. It was 109 degrees in Charleston and my air wasn't working. He sent someone out at around 6:00 on the 15th of July. I was initially told between 11-1 but he didn't show up until nearly 6 PM. He told me it was the defrost board. I told him I had a window unit so he knew it wasn't a huge rush. He went ahead and ordered it, overnight, and charged me $482 to replace a defrost board which didn't even solve the problem. When I told him I had discussed the issue with some of my coworkers who work on AC's he said "have them come look at it the ." Mind you, this was after I already paid the $482 for NOTHING. At the end he said he'd reimburse me for the part but not the service call. Why would I pay for a service call diagnostic that did nothing. No problem was diagnosed. Oh; he also said he was going to come and take the defrost board back. I would never recommend ANYONE to do business with this company. They are fraudsters. Oh, and when I asked him what time he'd be back today, he said he was tired of texting and it wasn't worth the headache to fix My air that I had already paid for. No one do business with this man.
