      Order placed with Rack Doctor on Aug 23, 2022. Order number *****. Order confirmed and credit card charged $1094.95 on same day. Order never sent or refunded. Multiple attempts to contact vendor unsuccessful until Dec 2022. Vendor assured order would be fulfilled within 2 wks. No product received and subsequent attempts to contact vendor unsuccessful. Order now 7 months overdue. Car is not usable as a result. Will attach order confirmation and charge. Can supply credit card charge information if required.

      This contract shows 10/06/22, the paid invoice was sent to me via email. It was paid in full by credit card on 10/11/22. The authorization code is *****************. I HAVE CALLED NUMERIOUS TIMES WITH NO RESPONSE WHAT SO EVER. I believe I have been scammed out of my money. I called today 3/20/23 and the voice mail is full. I have been around long enough to know when someone is NOT GOING TO FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THEIR CONTRACT. I just wish I had checked with you before throwing my money away. I ordered from them based on my mechanics recommendation. I paid ****** for a replacement rack for my **** Thank You for any help you can give.

      Ordered a steering rack for my **** *** M3 on Thu, Aug 18, 2022. Email response stated they were running a few weeks behind. Website states " IF we have it listed on our web site we have it !!!!!! " Called September 22nd for status update, left a message, no response. Emailed Sept 30th, No response. Called September 30th, no response. Called October 4th, answered, spoke to a woman that told me they know when my order would ship but would talk to someone and call me back, never received a call back. October 28th Called twice, second call picked up, same woman told me same story they didn't know when they would ship and would talk to someone and call me back, I informed her I would like to cancel my order, she said fine and hung up. Called Nov 9th, order never refunded, talked to Rich, told me he would cancel order. Order never refunded. Call Jan 4th no response, filed for refund from credit card company. Credit card company said it was too late for them to do anything.

      I ordered a power steering rack from RackDoctor in March of 2022. The website mentioned they were a little behind on shipping times. After about a month, I asked for an update with no response. I took my car to a local shop and had the existing rack repaired and asked RackDoctor to cancel the order, again with no response. They had no problem immediately charging my card for the order but have gone silent now that I am asking for the order to be canceled. It has been 7 months since the original order with no contact.

      I order and payed for a rack for my 2007 Subaru Forester non-turbo on 5/23/22 and received a confirmation email saying it will take two weeks before the ship it. I haven't received any emails saying it has shipped. So I called them today 7/1/22 which is more than a month of waiting and no one answers and there voicemail is full so I couldn't leave a message. I desperately need a new rack for my forester and mine is failing.

      02/18/2022 I paid 329.95 for a steering rack. It took multiple weeks/months to get the rack. Once I got the rack I had it swapped and sent back within 1 week. I have been asking for my core charge ($100) for weeks now with answered of "we will get you the core charge back. I have heard nothing in almost a month.

      Let me first start out by saying that when I purchased my steering rack new my experience was completely different from what I am experiencing now. My car is in the shop and has been for weeks after we were told there would be a 72 hour turnaround time on warranty work. After about a week I was told it was on the table being worked on and would be sent the following day (Friday) or Monday at the latest. This was the last time anyone from the company returned a message or answered the phone. I sent my steering rack on April 6 for 72 hours. Today is April 28. I have called and left numerous messages, as has my wife. The message I left yesterday stated I would be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau so here we are. Since my car is in the shop and has been, I've had to Rent-A-Car or borrow one which has gotten quite expensive. The shop that my car is at is charging storage fees since it has been there for over three weeks now. On top of all of that, I had to purchase a new steering rack elsewhere. This whole endeavor has cost me thousands of dollars just because this business won't be honest or warrantee their work. So, I would like a complete refund of the price I paid for the rack, since they still have it in their possession. I would also like a refund of the court charge fee since they have my car. If this is not handled quickly, I will be forced to take this company to civil court and try to recoup my losses.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/05/04) */ there is absolutely no way on this great big Blue planet spinning in space that we will be issuing a refund for this unit purchased in 2016 we are available 9am - 4 pm Monday through Friday. we would also require a current registration for the vehicle as we understand the vehicle may have changed ownership. There are currently supply chain issues as well as staffing issues due to the last 2 years of government Genocide we have encountered. the majority of the industry offers a 2 year warranty on this same part that the consumer had 6 years of reliable service for the rack and pinion as we waited on a back ordered seal to come to repair the unit the consumer decided to buy a rack and we should pay for it. we can offer $100 for the unit being kept for core value. Consumer stated the unit was leaking upon inspection the unit was not leaking and was in correct operational order there was grease in the drivers side bellow. like there should be. apparently the consumer wanted to refresh the steering when the repair was not needed. a complete waste of time for all parties. we are currently running a minimum of 3 weeks on ALL ORDERS even special people. a real win for you here when there is no one left with tech support in this country remember you have done you part to ensure that small companies in the USA are destroyed as we get daily requests to build items we are very capable of building however have dropped from our line we have tried to contact you by phone several time's with no answer. storage fees started accumulating the day we were not able to charge your card for the unit. have a nice day thank you

      Asked for an update on a warranty for a steering rack. I paid for the full cost of the steering rack, again, and was to be refunded when I received the warranty steering rack and sent the original rack back. When I sent an email asking for an update, receipt and shipping information I received a call immediately, in which Rich of Rack Doctor referred to my home address, told me he wasn't too far and would come down and I quote "beat my ***". I dont think anymore explanation is needed, people like this should not be in business, and I am now seeking legal action against his threat.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/09/13) */ I nor any of my employees will be spoken to in the manor this "gentleman" spoke to me. he expressed an issue and while I was explaining we were short staffed and could ship a replacement that same day went on to berate and make threats over and over. in True Bully fashion condescending obnoxious and Rude. cries to the heavens when someone finally has enough and stands up to him. I await the "legal actions" per threats that didn't happen. unless he is referring to the threats to my business sent in writing. we sell auto parts we are not doing life and death heart transplants. there is no reason to call a business and speak to anyone in the way this man did. then cry when someone doesn't kiss his tail. that being said if he would like a refund please return the product un-molested. and we will issue a refund. if he would like a replacement for warranty he can return his steering gear for repair. other than that I wouldn't ship him anthrax. Business owner is still exhibiting hostility in his response to defend himself against actions of hostility. No threats were ever made on my end, only let him know I would be sharing my experience with others, which he is obviously very afraid of. Once again the owner of the business quoted my address and said "athens is not too far, how about I come down and beat your ***", which he referred to again in an email. People who cannot produce a quality part therefore endangering the life on their customers and on top of that, threaten to harm then physically should not only be out of business but in jail. Part will be returned for a refund and documents are being gathered for further legal action. An absolute disgrace to the automotive industry.
