Terrible! I had the most unacceptable experience with AGL Heating & Air Conditioning. Twice they charged me for a service call for a brand new HVAC unit that was under warranty. They even sent someone out on a Sunday when they said it would be Monday and then had the audacity to charge me overtime. I bought some heating plates for my registers for approximately $40.00. Went to pick them up, gave them my credit card information and they wrote my credit card number wrong. They sent a link a few times to pay my bill that did not work. Then they said to send a check. I said to myself why am I bothering paying them with a when they cannot get a credit card number right, send me links to pay with a credit card that did not work. I said forget it. They should be comping the bill as a courtesy for all these problems. I decided not to pay the $40.00 bill. Then the owner Ricky Lingle started sending me very lengthy emails telling me what was wrong with me. Ricky insisted I pay the $40.00 bill. This was after I had just paid him over $10,000.00 for a new HVAC unit. A brand new system under warranty where he was charging me for service calls. Ricky starting harassing me and would not let up. He sent me several long emails. I told me him to leave me alone and to stop bothering me. He did not listen and called me leaving a long voicemail. My handyman was in my home at the time working while this was happening. He said he had heard bad things about AGL Heating & Air Conditioning. That he would never use them and that he would tell his brother who is a well known home builder on Kiawah Island about this guy. Warning his brother not to use AGL Heating & Air Conditioning. After this long voicemail I sent my final email telling him to stop harassing me or I would report him to the authorities. I then blocked his phone number and email. If I were you I would NEVER use this company. Ricky Lingle has issues and and his staff is incompetent. Do Yourself a Favor and Go with someone else!

This is so unfortunate 1. Jill is correct, we did install a system for the seller of her property and she agreed to it and then paid for it as the buyer. 2. Jill is correct, we came and did a service call to show her how to use the thermostat since she was out of town during the install. We did not charge for it. 3. Jill is correct, we did go there on a Sunday to fix the emergency heat for her and the technician did charge her for the diagnostics. Our office resolved this charge on Monday. 4. Jill is correct, she wanted to purchase some floor grilles from us but did not want to pay for the delivery and install of them. She came in and purchased them directly. 5. Jill is correct, she read to us her credit card to pay for the grilles but the credit card did not process. She blames it on us for writing it down wrong. Yes it is possible. 6. Jill is correct, we sent her a link to pay the credit card herself, twice, and the processing failed. She blames it on our processing system. It is possible, but there was a verified glitch on her second attempt. Jill sent me an email about her frustration with the processing system, along with some pretty rude comments about my team as it relates to this payment. She then demanded to not pay the $40. Although it would have been an easier decision as a business owner for me to give in, I do not take kindly to rudeness. She is allowed to have her complaints and frustration, and I will always allow that. Even having a frustrating tone is warranted and understandable. However, the level of rude was beyond acceptable, highly unprofessional and I was not going to condone that behavior towards my employees and myself. I would have happily covered her expenses had her approach been handled differently. In regards to her claiming I harassed her, I did not. I would send her to collections and let them harass her if it meant that much to me. I simply responded to her emails, attempted to call her to avoid the emails, but then stood firm on the money being due. I wish Jill the best and hope she finds a good HVAC company.
