I hired Mr. Cameron S*****, owner of Kem-Crete LLC to extend my concrete driveway and back patio. Work began on June 1 and concrete began to be poured on June 3rd. However, Mr. S***** and his crew showed up after noon knowing the weather called for rain. They attempted to spread the concrete rushed before the rain but eventually had to stop. The end result is an entire truck of concrete that, per a second opinion, needs to be completely torn up and restarted. Mr. S***** stated on June 10th that he needed the remainder of the fee to pay his crew and the concrete truck so, against my better judgement, I paid him in full $3500 with the promise that he would return the next day to repair and finish the job. He did not show up nor return my calls/messages for several days. He did finally come back to our home, unannounced, when we were not home and attempt to resurface the laid concrete. He did fill some of the rather large holes and patch an area that broke off but has left the entire area with no scores for drainage or smooth surface. There is still an area that has rough, dried left over concrete as well that was never finished. I have attempted to contact Mr. S***** to resolve the issue but he has yet to respond, We would like for him to come tear out all of the concrete poured and refund the $3500 he took for an incomplete, shoddy job, so that we can have the job completed by another company. OR for him to pay for disaster he left us with to be torn up and completed by another reputable company. I have a stream of text messages back and forth I can provide if needed to confirm he is aware of the incomplete, bad job that was done. I have also included photos of the damaged areas.
