On 8-23-22 I bought a 2007 Lexus ES Sedan for $3,000 in cash and $3,000 in 3 credit cards. I dealt directly with the owner who is ***************************************. It was a ************** Bill of Sale. The transaction was completed at my home address in **********, **************. I took possession of the car at my home address. The title was promised for a later date. On August 24, 2022 insurance was put on car from ********************** Near the end of October 2022 a title was mailed to me. After less than 3 months after purchasing the car the transmission failed. On December 9, 2022 I sold the car to Hills Auto in *******, **************. In late November 2023 I was informed by Hills Auto that the title was not filled out correctly. They had attempted to contact GoPro but phone calls were never answered and voice requests to return the calls were ignored. The same happened when I tried to call GoPro. It was suggested I get an Instant Title from the ************** DMV but the car was never registered in **************. The ************** DMV suggested going to the South Carolina DMV but they said the car was never registered in **************. The back of the title only shows the car being sold to GoPro Auto Sales on June 3, 2022 in *******. On January 4, 2024 I sent a certified and notarized letter to GoPro asking them to correct the problem. 2 attempts were made by the **** to deliver the letter but no one would sign for it. The letter has been returned to me.
