We hired Jarod w/ Dog Be Good 11/23/21 for a 4 week training program for our 6 mo golden doodle. Up to this point we had brushed her daily and groomed every 6 wks. The program was to be guaranteed behavior improvement, leash training, potty training, basics. Jarod said he'd have her groomed w/in first 2 weeks. The lack of communication was an issue from start but we trusted Jarod was doing all he promised so we kept reaching out to see how it was going. No reports/pics/videos were sent, at week 4 Jarod said he'd been sick and needed more time. Each week I text he needed another week, we got concerned & asked for proof of life. The photo he sent 3 days after it was obvious he never groomed the pup and she appeared neglected, matted, very overgrown. He assured us she wd be groomed upon arrival. at 8 weeks he brought her home, she was SHAVED naked and had a horrible ear infection. Within the hour after Jarod left she had diarrhea and was anxious we alerted our Vet. Her stool had worms, she was underweight and her ear infection was so severe indicating she had either been in rain or water for a long period of time & infection left untreated. We knew the reason she had to be shaved was due to severe matting and tightness. We dug deeper & tracked down the groomer who Jarod used & demanded photos. She was very sweet and said that shaving was the only solution, between a foul smell and horrible matted knotted hair worse than she even thought, she said the ear was very bad & she even pulled a glob from her ear.(pic) We questioned her about the shape that Darcy was in and she felt very bad but admitted Jarod knew she was in bad shape. We understand if people get sick & would have gladly taken care of our Pup while Jarod recovered and let him train a later time. No need to keep our pup neglected & uncared for then return her untrained, shaved & sick. She knows NO commands, even SIT. We paid 1800 and hoping this is a rare experience & we will close case if refunded.
