This place needs to be shut down immediately, they abuse patients constantly and yet this place is still open. This facility needs to be investigated immediately I noticed on a daily patients being tied down and drugged up for absolutely no reason. Employees laughing bullying and pushing medications on these patients. The abuse of power in this facility and the way patients are treated is just sad,and honestly the only reason they are open is to make money. Why a facility with a 2.6 rating is still opened is beyond me. Something needs to be done and if this review is only but taken lightly, I will make it my mission to shut this place down permanently!

I was in there for 7 days. I was sick and needed to go to hospital. No one would help me in there. They do want to drug you all day long. I'm worse than before I went into that place. In fact it traumatized me even more and I already had severe ptsd, sleep disorder. Anxiety and panic disorder. Now I'm so much worse. Now I wished I had died because it was such a horrible experience. I am so traumatized. The nurses (all of them) did not even act like nurses. Seen the therapist once. Seen the doctor once. None of the employers did nothing the entire time. They wouldn't give me my sandals to wear until my last night there. I got so sick my stomach was extremely extended. I couldn't urinate and I couldn't have a bowel movement. My whole body had went numb and I was tingling all over. My body started to twitch and jump all over. I had chills and sweats. All the nurse did was just sit there and watch me suffer. I begged for help. All the staff just laughed at me. I never slept the entire time I was in there. My blood sugar was staying elevated, my blood pressure was elevated, i had a fever. They did nothing The last day I was there I think I had a psychotic breakdown from the way I was treated. Now my body is so sick. My muscles in my body are gone. I can't hardly walk or function. I'm so much worse than I have ever been. The day I left I couldn't even feel my heart beating. I thought I was dying. Wish I had now. Thought I was going to get help. But there was no help. Just more. trauma. It's also like a prison. I was treated worse than a dog and suffered like one too. The entire time I was in there my heart was racing non stop except the day I was leaving. Like I said I couldn't feel my heart beat hardly at all. Don't get put in that prison. They will let you die and die painfully.

Run! For the love of God, RUN! I have scheduled an appointment with a therapist to recover from my stay there. They medicate patients to the point of zombies, then put them in front of the ** for the majority of the day. We watched a minimum of 4 full length movies A DAY. If we weren't watching that it was Family Feud. I went to a "therapy" session focusing on how to make decisions. This was done by playing Would You Rather? As in, "Would you rather have uncontrollable body hair or uncontrollable body odor?" That was our only therapy for that day. I should be grateful. At least we had therapy. Not sure what I should have gleaned from that.The staff had some nice people, but the majority were simply jerks. I sat eating breakfast one morning, with my back not two feet from the staff. I heard a minimum of six comments like"---- (patient) is so obnoxious, I can't stand her." "I wish they would all go to their rooms and stay all day." I finally turned around and confronted them by saying "I don't like the vibe I'm getting from you all." To which the nurse said,"What do you think you are hearing?" That's when I remembered I was in a drug detox program and they could twist things and say I was hearing things. I wrote a complaint but never heard from the person who was supposed to respond to those complaints.Another tech was yelling (a marine in another life), scaring so many of these young ladies - many who had experienced **** and already felt vulnerable - to the point they would go into their rooms and refuse to come out. No worries for the techs - that meant less work for them. It made me physically sick. I filled out a complaint on him as well. Guess who is still waiting to hear from the person handling complaints on this as well?I suspect I was kept longer than medically necessary because I had insurance. I guess I'll never know the real reason. That would mean I would have to see a doctor, something that NEVER happened during my eight days of h*** there.
