      To whom is my concern I bought a new Tidewater boat 292 adventure last year in June from a local dealer (Sea hunter Marina). Since I bought the boat, I have been going back to the dealer with different issues. Every time they said is fixed when I pick the boat back and test it, we have the same issues or similar. During the last year I haven't been able to use the boat for around 4 to 5 months due to the constant issues i have experience and the dealer fail to fix. This last time the boat spend about two months on the dealer. When i pick it last week and take it to the water I still experience issues. I spoke to the dealer, and they basically want me to get the boat back for them to correct the situation. I have been paying my loan every month without been able to use it without to worry about all the issues that the dealer is failing over and over to take care of it.

      Sea Hunter talked with customer today.  They are sending a truck to bring boat to dealership to fix problem.  Customer seemed happy.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, they did in fact send a tech to my house to work on the boat. Once I use the boat on the weekend I will be able to see if all the issues were corrected. This has been done couples times and issues keep coming back.

      I purchased this boat new. While under warranty it stated leaking gasoline within 3 months after purchase. It has a built-in tank of 57 gallons. The gas was spilling out through the drain plug at the rear of the boat. It has been nonstop since then and is still leaking as of this date, March 19th, 2024. It has been to the dealership 4 times to repair leak. They cannot fix leak. The leak is a dangerous problem and could cause death by exploding. The leak has been over a gallon at times. Tidewater boats has failed to resolve this dangerous issue. They won't return my calls, or the dealers calls to resolve this matter.

      We have been in contact with the dealer in regard to the customer's boat. We believe we have found the source of the leak to be a part we no longer use. We have sent the dealer the new retro fit part we had custom made next day air. The dealer has been in contact with the customer to get the boat back to the shop so they can get it replaced and pressure test the system as soon as possible.

       I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********. I will return the boat back to boat dealer BBPT and allow them to fix the leak. If the gas leak cannot be stopped, Tidewater boat will need to resolve this matter another way ASAP. This is the 5th attempt by dealer to fix the gas leak.
