      7/18/2023 We purchased a new home from Lexington Discount Homes. The order was specific and the home was to be built to specifications. We have several major issues still remaining where Lexington Discount Homes refuses to respond, gives false information and simply does nothing to resolve the problems. I have had to engage the home builder in Alabama to send repair folks to address many of the other issues I have not mentioned here. We paid extra money to "flip" the floor plan and relocate the master bedroom door. The door was relocated but the original door was not removed and still exists. The island in the kitchen was ordered to be "white" matching the cabinetry, It was delivered wrong and in a wood tone. They have responded with "We will order the right one", Oh the right one will be here in a week or so, we'll call you ", " I don't remember that on the original sales order", and every other excuse they can think of except for bringing and installing the correct one. The front door, storm door and frame were damaged during the delivery and set up and there is at least a 1/2" to 3/4" gap all the way around, the lock only works part time because of the door frame damage, the storm door is simply bent and needs replaced, After many calls and complaints, the home builder Kabco (not LDH Lexington) has responded and adjusted what they could but claim it's LDH's issue. Lexington Discount Homes has made no attempt to resolve this obvious safety and energy wasting issue. LDH was in a rush to have me call the mortgage company and let them know the house was put in place so they could be funded, This was a large mistake on my behalf because after they were funded, there is no service or commitment to complete their obligation. We have all communications (and lack of) documented. I am hoping the BBB can assist me in getting resolution or at least warn others about the service they will not receive after buying from LDH. Today was the last straw for us and I will be engaging an attorney, The sales person "Will" was extremely rude to my wife and actually yelled at her for escalating these issues.

      Unfortunately, the G******'s home came in with the wrong color island and their master bedroom door was no removed. I called the manufacture to get the correct island color built. They told me that it would be taken care of and they would send it in another home that was being delivered to our lot. I called Karen G****** and explained to her that the manufacture would be sending another island. It took a month and a half for them to send the island. Unfortunately, the manufacture sent the wrong one. I immediately called the manufacture and told them of the wrong one being sent. I also told Karren G****** about the wrong island being sent. The manufacture took another two months to get us the correct island. But they forgot to send the bookshelves, cabinet doors, and drawers. I called the manufacture again trying to get this issue resolved. I spoke to Karren G****** and she was understandably not happy. I talked to Karren G****** on a Monday  explaining to her that the bookshelves were suppose to be in a home coming in on Wednesday. And told her as soon as I have eyes on them I will let her know. I am off on Tuesday's and when I came in Wednesday I received a message from my co-worker that Mrs. G****** called in and was very upset. I called and left her a message to call, explaining on that message that the bookshelves have not come in yet and to please call me back. When Mrs. G****** called back she was highly upset and yelling . I asked her to please stop yelling because I was not yelling at her. She got upset with me and hung up the phone. The bookshelves did come in  that day. I emailed Karen G****** as soon as they came in. The manufacture still forgot to send the cabinet drawers and doors. I called the manufacture right away and got them  overnighted them to us . I emailed Mrs. G****** to let her know that we finally have everything and our service person would be contacting her right away. Our service person called her a couple of times and was able to get in touch with her. The island has been changed and the door has been taken out on 4/15/2024. I am enclosing pictures of the work completed. The outside doors front and storm door are the manufactures responsibility. The  manufacture said they would call the G******s  on the week of April 8-12th. I asked the G******s to please let me know if they haven't contacted them . I have no response from the G******'s. It is very important to me and Lexington Discount Homes to take care of the customers issues in their home. In this case the manufacture took a long time to get us the corrected island color. Which prohibited Lexington Discount Homes to complete the repairs.

      Door taken out and sheetrock was put on the wall. Our service guy tried calling the customer to find out where the extra paint ( the manufacturer leaves ) was. But they did not respond.
