This company installed a roof on my home two years ago. The roof started leaking so I called my home insurance. The adjustor said it was not a weather event issue but workmanship of the installation. I notified the roof contractor, he came out and said he only guarantees his work for 2 years. Ridiculous my roof is sagging and mold growing in the ceiling. This is due to a vent installed by his workers improperly.Business response

I was onsite and spoke with Caleb on 09/20/2023. The roof was installed for the previous owner in June of 2021. The roof has a 2 year craftsman warranty for the original owner , & a Limited Lifetime warranty for the original owner.. I informed Caleb that we would be at his residence on Saturday, 09/23/2023. My repair crew showed up on 09/23/2023 to complete the repair, but no one was home.
Caleb, the new owner failed to contact us or Owens Corning to get his manufacturers warranty transferred within 60 days of new ownership. There is NO warranty on his roof or workmanship.
I offered to do the repair leak repair as a “courtesy”, at NO charge. I currently have his issue rescheduled to be repaired this week.
I reached out to Caleb today, & was cussed & threatened because we won’t fix his interior water damage issues for free. I now refuse to do his interior repairs for free or for any amount of money because of his colorful choice of words towards me. He has threatened to bad mouth me & my company if we don’t cave into his demands. I will help anyone in need, but not when someone yells, screams, threatens, cusses threatens blackmail when he doesn’t get his way NOW.
I am still willing to repair his roof as a courtesy & I will advise BBB when this issue has been resolved.

We went back to the dwelling and the roof was NOT leaking at all. It was condensation from the air conditioning that was causing the problems. The dwelling is a mobile home and it had 8 box vents installed in the roof . We installed 4 more additional vents for air flow at NO charge.
The homeowner was advised to have more insulation blown in the attic to help combat the issue is sweating in the summer months as the air conditioning was set below 70 degrees.No response from homeowners about adding more attic insulation.
All the concerns has been addressed at this time.
