      2/12/2022:Purchased 2013 Yukon Denali with 124,203 miles with $4000 180 month/40000 mile warranty. Purchase price $28136-5500 down=22636 taxes and fees included. Part of the deal was to have a thumping sound taken care of and extra set of keys with a fob.On feb 27 dropped off for service appointment to take care of owed items and additional problems noticed during that small time frame period, thumping sound,keys,knocking noise, misfire check engine light intermittent oil leak in driveway. 2 weeks later still not done they just plugged a tire couldn't find anything else wrong with vehicle so on saturday went to the shop they put it on the lift, front differential leaking(oil leak in driveway)thumping sound still there showed common issue with thumping and maybe they fixed that but thumping was still there. They said they can feel the miss but warranty won't do anything without check engine light on(intermittent)they said the knocking sound was direct injection making the noise(2014 and newer had this noise with the LT engines not 6.2 LS) the knocking sound ended up being the camshaft lobe wearing out causing the misfire with a intermittent check engine light found out from GMC dealer that it needs a engine or rebuild of $9,000. Thumping sound was still not diagnosed yet due to engine failure about 1500 miles from purchase. After all said and done maybe another 1000 to fix the oil leak from front diff and thumping sound plus key and fob. The warranty company will be another complaint filed soon to see if they will fix it at the dealership of my choice. So far they denied it to be fixed at that GMC dealer. I picked vehicle up at North Strand Nissan March 12 2022 with 124572 miles. Been dealing with this mess ever since with about 1500 miles roughly. The Denali is at Hyatt Buick GMC waiting on the warranty company to pay for the costs of the engine then will be able to diagnose the thumping sound, and the front diff leaking. I have been without a vehicle for over month

      Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2022/06/15) */ The customer did purchase on 2/12/22. On Mar 11th, he brought the Yukon into service. The Bracketbushings were replaced, leak in tire plugged, oil leak from pinion shaft not covered all fixed at no charge to customer. At that time the tech was not able to detect any abnormal noise and injector pulsing and oil pressure were ok. On April 26th, the customer took the Yukon to Beach GMC and was told he needed to replace the camshaft. GMC contacted AUL Warranty and was given approval for $5766.70 for quote given and the work was completed and invoiced on 5/11/22. We have since spoken to the customer and learned that he has sold the vehicle. We informed him that we would send him a check for the key fob he never came back to the dealership to get. We have supporting copies of all Repair Orders if required
