    I would give them zero stars if I could. Their prices are exuberant. And when I had a very sick dog they refused to see her. It's important to note my dog was a patient of theirs. I took my dog to get her teeth cleaned in Florence where we used to live because they charged $400 less for that service. She had her annual physical exam and vaccinations at that time. This was 10 days before I took her into Waterway when she got sick. They would not see her without giving her another annual physical exam. Which she did not need. I even brought the records of her annual physical exam she had had 10 days earlier. I knew that having another annual physical exam by this office would cost several hundred dollars additional that was not necessary. Then my dog seem to be doing better when we were in the office and didn't appear to be hydrated so I left. Overnight she started throwing up again with diarrhea and would not stop. I called them back and asked could I please bring her back in (I no longer cared if they wanted to charge me for another unnecessary annual exam) and they said no. They said because I refused the treatment that they wanted to do the day before they would no longer see my dog and I had to find somewhere else to go and they'd release my records. I explained I didn't refuse the office visit, only the annual physical exam for which I provided all the details of from 10 days earlier. These people are horrible. You refuse to see a very sick animal just because I refuse to allow them to do service that was not necessary? Do not take your animal there unless you have won the lottery and don't care about your animals .

    By reading this review, we can understand your concerns. It appears there was some misunderstanding &/or miscommunication.
    We weren't suggesting another annual exam (which is well under $100). However, in order for the veterinarian to treat a sick pet, he or she would need to perform a comprehensive exam, to determine what is making the patient ill. (This exam is also well under $100. We do not charge for "office visits".) At that time, the veterinarian could determine how to proceed forward with diagnostics &/or treatments.
    We hope that this will clarify some things related to the discussions that occurred during your calls & visits with us.
    We also hope that your little one is on the mend at this time & feeling much better!
