      I bought a travel trailer. It has numerous problems. We have been able to use two times. The shower pan was cracked and leaking. It was replaced. Now the walls leak water. I took it in the first time and waited on repair. They have had it since September 2022 for warranty work. The ac will not cool during daytime. It can not be rated for this size travel trailer and no hook up for 2nd ac. This would be a warranty issue in the future. The slide is off track. The metal on front has dents. All molding in camper is cut too short. The cubby holes for storage are bent. The couch/bed in bunkhouse is not quality. It was only used 2 times and is "bent" In middle. I have talked with local dealer. Asked for a trade. Trade in 10k less than buying price. I talked with corporate. They say the dealer has responsibilities. I'm paying for something I can't use. The parts are ordered but not here. I just want a refund of money. Please help I can't provide pictures because it in in shop 40 miles away I'm a disabled veteran

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/12/09) */ Thank you for contacting us regarding this customer. We have reached out and spoken to the customer most recently on Dec. 6th. The manufacturer holds the warranty and any repairs would need approved through the manufacturer. The manufacturers warranty is listed in the owner manual for all customers to review. The shower enclosure has been shipped and we have a tracking number. The shower doors have arrived. In order to install the shower doors, the enclosure has to be put in first. The RV could have been used but the customer wanted everything repaired prior to picking up. We have been storing the unit for no charge and working on other items. The manufacturer denied some of the items of which were discussed with the customer. In fact, the shower enclosure and door was denied also. The dealership is caring for this under good will. We understand the customer concerns and are working to rectify the situation. We are always willing to help our customers with a trade. Unfortunately, the customer did not like the trade values. As far as paying for something the customer cannot use, the camper can be picked up and ready at any time. It was the customer's choice to leave it here until all work was complete. We will continue conversation with the customer and try to get him out camping asap. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/12/12) */ So my camper leaks water because of shower pan and walls. They are not charging me storage. Have camped 2 times because of this issue had to mop water off floor. They encouraged me to bring it because it needs so much warranty work. I just want my money back. Paid 30k + for camper. They offer 24k for a trade in on a LEMON. Slide out is broken and kitchen window leaks. We are receiving multiple emails from this customer daily. The shower enclosure is supposed to be delivered this week. Barring no issues, with parts, delivery, etc. this is a priority for the team. The other items on the list are being addressed and we will do our best to get as many of those as possible fixed under the warranty. In fact, the manufacturer just approved the slide repair. The dealership is just trying to help get him out camping asap. The manufacturer (Forest River) holds the warranty for the first year. The warranty states the RV must come to the center for the first year of warranty for repair. The manufacturer does not have a return policy. They have the "right to repair" under the warranty they hold. We have tried to help this customer trade into another RV. We are in the middle and doing everything possible to get the customer back camping. Please advise if we should be emailing back and forth daily with the multiple emails the customer is sending or follow this process. Believe us we want to resolve this as soon as possible. Please let us know if you would like to receive a copy of the other emails or if you are getting them also.

      We purchased a 22' travel trailer, SUNDANCE back in December 17th , 2021. They gave us a demonstration for the product and we drove back home in Virginia and parked until our first trip couple weeks later . On our very first trip three weeks later right back in Myrtle Beach, SC we found a big leak of water on the back and after looking closely I found that the shower head and the bathroom faucet was the problem. So I can't use the shower or faucet in the bathroom at this time. Considering that I was right next to the dealer decided to stop by and check it out what they could do to fix the problem . That's when I found out that they were not as enthusiastic as they're to sell me the trailer . At the time they said didn't have parts , so I'm taking off for my winter trip south with a brand new trailer but I can't use shower and bath sink. Part department told me they would ship me a replacement. First attempt they send me the wrong part, I went to the dealer for the third time with the wrong part trying to solve this and the running around continued, confusions among the staff is obviously , one blame the other and the promise of solution however after 8-10 attempts by phone it's obvious that so far we're not important enough for this to be resolved . Going to be a year since I purchase the trailer and also on the first trip to Arizona we had to paid out of pocket to ALL R.V. SERVICE AND REPAIR on 01//XXXXXX the amount of $421.32 for a shower head damaged batch pipe which I'm very disappointed nobody would take the so call extended warranty they sold us . My complaint is that I need to have the faucet replaced and my expenses covered .

After research, we found parts upon becoming available were shipped (faucet and shade) directly from the RV manufacturer who holds the warranty. There was a parts shortage at that time. And parts orders/shipments did take longer than expected. We appreciate you stopping in after realizing the incorrect faucet was shipped by the manufacturer. We certainly understand your concerns and want to help. The best way to care for this at this point and time is for you to contact the manufacturer and ask for their assistance in this matter according to the manufacturer warranty. If you are traveling any dealer who is an authorized dealer for your manufacturer can assist. Our Business Manager/Manager would be happy to talk through any concerns you have regarding the extended warranty. Feel free to reach out.
