(May 2022) I absolutely would NOT recommend this company!! My experience with them was very unsatisfactory to say the least. After paying 1/2 bill upfront and waiting for them for several weeks to do the work, they cancelled on me twice before starting the work. I schedule meetings for my job weeks in advance and I had cleared my calendar on the 2 cancelled days. Unfortunately, I was not able to monitor their work on the day they finally came due to my job. I was trusting that they would implement what we had agreed to in our discussions. Big Mistake! The job involved finishing a small fountain in which the hole was already dug and I had 90% of the other materials like the liner and edging. The design was to have a ring of flowers around the outside of the pond, the fountain statue to be facing west, rocks and water in the pond and the statue to be level with the surrounding sidewalk. Well what I got was rocks and water all the way to the edge (no separate place for flowers) and the statue facing forward. Worst part...they placed 6 dianthus plants IN THE WATER! This was not a continuous ring...when you take plants out of the pot and plop them into a pond on top of rocks, all that dirt and debris clogs up the filter within 30 minutes. One of the experts at the place HLG purchased the plants said that dianthus will not live continuously sitting in water. HLG first recommended phlox which Christian (owner) commented that that would not have been an appropriate plant but "dainthus certainly was". I paid my bill in full (mistake) but made it clear that I was not happy as what they had produced with the pond was NOT what we had agreed to. Daniel and I texted back and forth the next day as I expressed my total dissatisfaction with their unprofessional job. I gave them 7 days to come back and make it right. To date, no communication. To fix the mess they created, we have spent 3 weeks removing every rock, rinsed each one, and rebuilt the whole thing!! Nightmare!!
