      I am President of the Homeowners Association, Townhomes of Marsh Cove, Mt. Pleasant, SC XXXXX. ** **** (*** ***** was our property manager. He terminated the contract providing 30 days notice whereas the contract stated 60 notice. He has refused to transfer the relevant financial documents to our new property management firm - Wm. ******* as well as over $100,000 in savings and checking account firms that belong to the Townhomes of Marsh Cove. We are concerned that he will abscond with the funds and leave our association bankrupt.

      Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2022/05/06) */ I am responding to this complaint- easily- as these statements are very harsh and not true. THe funds for this HOA have & always have been- resgistered with ******* Bank under the Fed ID # of the HOA. At no time were these funds under total control of *** Property mgmt. When we notified the HOA of our intent to no longer manage their HOA, there was no follow up from this Board, of which we notified this Board that we would stop work including we would remove our names from the ******* Bank operations & savings Acct so that would insure that the proper Board Members would only have access to these funds. Again- this account was setup with other BOard members and the FED ID # of the HOA- and *** was only a signer on the acct., so after our timeline expired (3/31/2022) we had no responsibility or access to these funds. But since this notice has been received- I did work with the ******* Bank executives to help close the HOA accounts (since no other Current board members were available) and the board failed to Pass * resolution of memorandum authorxizing a certain Board member to retrieve the funds from ******* bank- which that is the document that is standard for bank business on HOA funds- i assisted the HOA &^ ******* bank in closing the accts- getting casheirs checks for the entire amounts of these funds and provided then to the new Property MGmt firm on 5/3/2022- the previously mentioned Wm ******* Mgmt firm. THis should address this frivilous claim to the BBB. I have also prior to our ending our mgmt agreement with this HOA, provided them a Quickbooks electronic file of all of there data & financial reccords during our time of mgmt of this HOA- the initial problem was they had not picked a new Prop mgmt group- and they were not familiar with *********** which is a standard for finanical mgmt tool for HOAS. AGain.. as of 5/3/22 - the new prop mgmt group has been updated with all data files again and at this writing has no outstanding questions for us. WE continue to send over old mail or add'l invoicies being received at our offices. Unfortunately this HOA and its Board members make accusations against our RDN Property mgmt group that are harsh and dont fit their timelines for responses. I am happy to talk and verify any of this info with someone from BBB or to verify with ******* Bank and the new Property mgmt group. THanks
