Such a traumatic experience at King and Society. We had visible mold day 1 of rental that quickly spread to spores and mushrooms within 2 weeks of rental. My sophomore daughter and roommates had to evacuate the first day of class. Very little care given to all three tenants' belongings during the clean up process and questionable responses as to what was completed and when. Ultimately, we had to find a new (more expensive rental) after a month at an expensive ******. We asked for help covering new mattresses and moving expenses we received no help. My daughter was treated so poorly by the manager. The whole thing was an expensive lesson learned. Please do your research when using a management company.

We understand and empathize with your frustrations over the events that led to the tenants moving out of this property. After evaluations by three licensed contractors (HVAC, Roofing, and Mold Remediation), we engaged a reputable, licensed company to perform a full mold remediation process and followed all guidelines as directed by the Landlord-Tenant laws in SC. To show good faith, we 1)refunded rent payments for the time period of the occurrence and throughout the remediation 2)returned the full security deposits back to the tenants and 3)transferred all utilities into our name during the remediation process. Unfortunately, we cannot control or accept responsibility as to how the 3rd party vendor that was hired to do the remediation treated the tenants' belongings and apologize if you feel that there was something that we could have done differently. The displacement of tenants is not something we take lightly. While we wish we could have completed the remediation efforts faster, it was not possible based on the schedules of the contractors and supplies necessary to correct. We wish the tenants the best in their new lodgings.
