Cabin Reservation from 3/18-3/22/2023- was assigned cabin #*. Wasps/bumble bees infestation: my children, pets and I were terrorized by over 25+ wasps and several huge bumble bees inside bedrooms. Cabin had problems with adequate heating, we were cold inside cabin. Half the cabin's electricity would go off Dirty: microwave was left dirty: food exploded and no turn table. Refrigerator had a horrible smell. Toilet bowl and towels dirty same as pillow cases. I sent several emails to Ms. June W**** about all these issues without any response to-date. I went to see her on 3/19/23 since I hadn't heard from her and all she said that she was sorry and took note of the issues. This cabin should not be for rent. It's dangerous to have so many wasps and to pay for a dump it's not fair. I have now read other guests' reviews and they are negative, awful experiences just like what my family and I went through.Business response

***** ***** booked a 2 bedroom cottage for 4 days, 3 adults and 3 dogs. The cottage did not have enough beds for all 3 people. One of her teenage sons was going to sleep on the floor on an air bed. I upgraded her to a much larger 2 story cabin that had just been renovated.FREE OF CHARGE. I thought she would enjoy having the extra room and a bed for everyone. The cabin has a fenced yard, beautiful large deck, fireplace, eat in kitchen, and a laundry room.It took me 5 minutes to wipe the black streaks out of the dryer. Someone must have dried rubber backed shoes in there. It was fixable with in a fewminutes. Same with the microwave. It would have taken a few minutes to bring in a new one.I was really busy preparing for a complete sell out , for the day after her departure. I was not aware of her text message and complaints. She did ask me for an extra heater and did not mention that she was upset about the issues she had with the cabin. I was not aware of her complaintsuntil she walked across the road and told me. She REFUSED to allow me to come over an take care of anything that she was upset about. When I heard about the wasps coming in, I called an Exterminator right a way. He arrived with in 2 hours and sprayed the entire outside of the house. It was bee and wasp season and we are in the Sumpter National Forest. The bee nest was hidden under the eve on the gable on the second floor. No one ever entered the house at anytime, until she had left,After I gave her the extra heater, the breakers started popping. She called me on the phone, I offered to come over to see what was going on. I told***** there was to many heaters running on one circuit. That is a safety feature. I asked her to have one of sons check the panel box and turn thebreaker back on, once again I was REFUSED entry to investigate the problem. After this family departed, I found the AC unit running alongwith the heaters as well. I felt something was wrong, because I used to live in that house in the winter. There was a lot of heaters in there.I would have done anything to make her happy during her stay. Refusing my help and staying through the entire reservation doesn't not warranther money back.Respectfully,June W****
