I went to this office last year and Dr. M****** did a Pap smear. The results were inconclusive, it had never happened to me anywhere else, so it lead me to look up reviews of this place in yelp. I came across a review from a former ex-employee where she said that she had quit because they were very unethical and were using rusted instruments on patients and she even showed a picture of the rusted instrument. I was disgusted by what I had just seem, so I called them and talked first with the front desk lady and then with the lady in the billing dept, I asked them to cancel the appointment that they had scheduled to repeat the Pap smear and any future appointments there.~ Fast forward I moved to Springfield MO in October 2021. They just sent me a bill to my current address in Springfield MO for $25 with the address printed on the bill, meaning it was not foward by the post office, which shows that somehow they got my new address before mailing it to me. It does NOT say on the bill the reason why they are charging me $25. I just called them this morning and I talked to the billing lady, and she said that it was because I missed an appointment on March 9th this year. I told her that I canceled any future appointments since last year when I called them to cancel the appointment to repeat the Pap smear. I asked to speak to the manager, so I spoke to Tiffany and told her that since they sent me this bill to my new address, it is proof that they knew that I had moved out of state; therefore It was obvious that I was not going to show to the appointment besides the fact that I had canceled the appointment since last year. she said that they do not have on their system my new address, I offered to email her a picture of the bill showing my new address printed on there and she asked if I could mail it, I said yes but once you receive you will wave the charge and she said NO. It shows that she just wanted to get rid of the evidence that proves the scam.Business response

A statement was generated for a missed appointment and mailed to the Myrtle Beach address in system. The post office forwarded letter to consumer's new address. I have adjusted off the no show fee to reflect a zero balance. The error was on Carolina OBGYN for not cancelling the future appointment.
