Current lease was signed with ***** Management prior to take over by **** Properties. Current management ignores the signed lease while attempting new illegal charges.1. Pest fee. Current management attempted to charge a pest fee in June, a violation of current lease. Asked about this and was told to put a zero in that line item. Did that and saw they attempted to recharge for this in July. Sent an email on July 5th asking why this charge is still there. Email was totally ignored (still have received no response). Instead found a letter taped to my door saying pest fee was not paid. They again attempted this illegal charge in August and it's currently shown on online statement as unpaid.2. Late fee. Current lease states "If you don't pay all rent on or before the 5th day of the month, you'll pay a late charge." Paid online on August 5th and received a confirmation email (attached). Instead, received another harrasing letter taped to my door dated August 7 stating rent was not received and "In accordance with your Lease Agreement, rent and related charges are due and payable on the 1st day of each month and are considered late after the close." **** ************ apparently didn't read the email they sent on the 5th, and the statement in quotes is a lie and another attempt of illegal late charges. Actually paid on the 5th every month this year and never received a letter like this. Current statement for next month shows an illegal late charge of $123.90.
