    We want to be released from our timeshare agreement with Sea Watch Inn at the Landing in Garden City Beach, SC. We have not gotten any satisfactory answers about how we can be released. We are now on a fixed income, and with increasing fees, this is becoming a huge burden.

    Good morning,

    I am writing this letter in regard to the utter disgust of this room. I have attached pictures, as well I will be sending copies of the pictures and this letter to the Better Business Bureau of SC, Wyndham Resorts and Sea Watch Resort.
    This room was probably one of the dirtiest and smelliest I have ever rented, and I will never rent another condo in a resort again because of it.

    Not only did it smell horrible of mold and mustiness, but it was obviously not cleaned before we got there except for the bathroom, and sheets on the bed. The refrigerator had food stuck to the outside of it, I did not clean it off, so my guess is it is probably still there.
    In regard to the vents, I sprayed them with Clorox bleach spray, as well as the mold in the corners, I sprayed the beds, pillows, closet and dresser with Microban to get rid of the smells and any bacteria. You would think that in the world we live in currently that people would be more interested in cleanliness, but that isn't the case here.

    I personally suffer from allergies to mold, dust and cockroach's - so this place was not the ideal vacation.

    In regard to the overall room experience:
    1. The beds are old and worn out
    2. The furniture feels like someone's old porch furniture that they didn't like anymore, very uncomfortable and filthy w/stains and food stuck in them.
    3. The pots and pans are all chipped up and old, as well I had to wash and scrub every one of them because they had food stuck on the sides and inside.
    4. The overall space is for people that are about 5' 5" the shower is low, the furniture is low.
    5. No information in regard to anything other that checking in and checking out is posted anywhere such as:
    a. Where the laundry is located
    b. They have no onsite coin machines so you need to bring your own quarters or get some when you are out
    c. The washer is $ 2.00; the dryer $ 1.00 per load, both are small.
    d. TV station schedule
    e. Information on how to contact front office
    6. The left 5 towels and washcloths for two people for 7 days in the room to shower.. seriously? I had to wash them twice and by Friday morning had to walk to the front office and request more towels in which I was given three.
    7. The ceiling vent in the bathroom is full of dust and has obviously not been cleaned for quite a long time.

    This whole unit needs and overhaul on being cleaned and refurnished because it is a complete disgusting mess and I feel sorry for the next person that rents it.

    On top of all of that is listed above I had to pay a $ 400.00 deposit when Pre-Registering (a separate email from Condo World) for any damages.. what a joke! I fully expect to see my credit card reimbursed this $ 400.00 security deposit.
    Note that I did not recall seeing another deposit would be required on pre-registration, I don't see it in any of the information I have printed out.

    I did receive your note in regard to moving to another unit, however that was a little late and would have caused me even more aggravation of going back and forth to your office and getting another potentially horrible rental unit.

    So I will be sending copies of this letter and the pictures to all those listed above and once I figure out who regulates rental properties in SC, they will also get a copy of this letter and the photos'.
