      We hired *********************** with Nightscapes to do our exterior lighting planned in July 2023. He gave us a price of $10,934 which included 77 lights throughout our property and installation of these lights. He failed to provide us with 77 lights. He only put in 57 light so he was 20 short the math comes up to him Owing us *******. The workmanship was well below normal standards. The conduit and wiring was not put underground. It was just laying on top of the soil and mulch. The light placement was not properly installed. My husband had to work a couple times with ***** on placement of lights. On two occasions he asked for more money. I said NO WAY!!! He also changed out our timers and did not set properly. Once asked to come back and complete the job, this is after I paid him in full, which was a mistake. He said he would on numerous occasions and never called or showed up. It has been like herding cats, a lot of time, frustration, and numerous scheduling of appointments and he was a no-show. This has taken a lot of time and aggravation for us both. The charge for making right will be added on to the balance owed to us from ***********************. I am so disappointed with his business ethics and lies. I have known ***** and ****** his wife for many years. I have recommended him to several of my clients. A small job no issues but a larger job with ********************* the same situation. He paid him ******* for a deposit and never came back. He took the money and did not return texts or phone calls after numerous times of no shows. He is not a good person. I will be going to the City to check on his business license. This is the first time I have ever filed a complaint with the BBB. I have been in ************ for 38 years. My husband and I both have successful businesses. I am in real estate with *********************** for 22 years and my husband owns *************. I just do not want anyone else to be a victim.

      Landscape Lighting Contractor designed and installed $1600 package of Landscape lighting in April 2023. Owner , *************************** has not responded to more than a dozen phone calls and text messages requesting for completion of a defective landscaping light fixture and system. ******* never worked and the landscape lighting blinks on and off continuously . *************************** initially responded 4 times that he would be over to replace and fix in a few days. He kept missing appointments in April and May but rescheduled a few times via text messages and then stopped responding completely. System is defective and if used the lights in the system blink on and off all night. I changed a few bulbs in July out of frustration to use my lighting package after no response from contractor. Bulb changed cost me $250.00 and helped a little bit since the system now blinks much slower and softer but dtill does not work properly.

      I am rejecting this response because: 
      .  The vendor called my wife and stated he would fix the issue asap and apologized.   Just like noted in my compliant,  the vendor promises to return and fix the issue and then never shows up.  So the problem is still unresolved with last contact 9 days ago.  He just keeps delaying by rescheduling appointments but we havent not heard or seen anything from ****** of Nightscapes in 9 days since he contacted my wife.

      As of the Evening of Aug 11th,  my lights are blinking.  Occasionally they blink less pronounced by last 4 days you can see the blinking landscape lights from the house across the street.
