      Horrible. *** dealt with ***** and bed bug issues from neighbors, have had maintenance make inappropriate remarks to me or about me, theyre constantly just making up their own rules at the Ivystone complex in ************. Have had my car tampered with and received no help from the office. Horrible parking, theyve jacked rent up over 250 dollars. Everything is outdated and Ive had to basically fix everything myself. The compactors are always broken and overflowing but theyll still have the audacity to charge you a fee for leaving it next to the compactor. Property manager just gives you the run around saying shell handle things and then doesnt. Id leave if I could.

      I have been here since Feb 2023 and my car has been broken into twice. There is no lights in the parking lot no cameras and all they want is there money. The trees are so grown up to the point it looks deserted. Powers Properties doesnt care about their tenants they just want money thats it.

      Ive had several maintenance issues that they were made aware of 5 days after we moved on 5-04-2023. I gave them two weeks and never heard anything. I submitted a work order online and again never heard anything. I called the maintenance department and was told it would be taken care of within two weeks, no response. Submitted a follow up request that is supposed to go to a manager. Still no response. Called the maintenance department again and was promised it would be resolved within a week. It has now been 8 days without a response. Tried to call maintenance department but the line has been busy for 2 days. Very unacceptable!

      The worst place to live. They charge u for months ur not there and add damage tht didn't happen. Also.... they don't listen ab complaints of other neighbors and blame u bc u reported it. Save ur money and try to buy a house at the rate they charge for rent.

      The neighborhood I live is quiet which I love but the maintenance is terrible! My A/C has been out for 2 weeks I have put in 3 service requests just to only get my outlets fixed! Its getting too hot and I shouldnt have to buy fans for every room! I keep calling and calling to get follows up and no one has still came and fixed my A/C

      Powers Properties violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act which is a federal law punishable by law of $1,000 per violation. I moved out March 2019. They pulled my credit report 2020 and 2021.

      Under SC Tenant Laws, tenant may vacate property if health hazards are present. I have documentation from childs allergist that shows it's from cockroach and mildew that was not delt with. I was not under contract either. Also, Equifax does not have authorization to release that information. As a business you pulled my credit report without my authorization whether it's to confirm address or contact information. Pulling a credit report is pulling it, it's black and white. You either did or didn't. I have documentation that shows you did without authorization. Doesn't matter who you used to pull it. I signed a contract with the business when I first moved in stating for pre-occupation I would authorize a release of my report. The business pulled my report AFTER contract expired and I vacated the property. Per law, that's a violation.

      My AC has gone out a total of 4 times within a week. They came to fix it on 08/26/22 and it went back out on 08/27/22. I called the emergency number and put in a request and left a voicemail for the regular maintenance number and the lady on the emergency line said they would come as soon as they can and when the temperature OUTSIDE is exceeds 90 degrees and it did on 08/28/22 and no one came and one been calling like crazy and they keep telling me I'm on the list but no one has come. Why is there a rule about the outside temperature being over 90 if they don't send anyone it's they're rule that they made. I am 2 months pregnant and the heat in my apartment is making me dizzy and nauseous.it is now 08/29/22 and no one has come still. I pay my rent on time and all I want is my AC fixed all they keep doing is coming and spraying Freon on the coil and it works and then goes back out a day later. I really don't bother to anyone or complain unless my AC goes out because I think it's really ridiculous that my AC goes out twice a week and all they do is spray Freon on the could to melt it and that's it. All I want is a real fix. It is unbelievably hot. I need help

      Our records confirm that the maintenance staff have been out to address multiple issues with this unit not cooling properly and have replaced and repaired the necessary items to get it back in operation. The local property manager confirmed with the maintenance technician that all outstanding issues with this unit were fixed before the close of business on 08/30/22. Before receiving this complaint, the local property manager spoke with the tenant the morning of 08/31/22 to verify that the unit was back up and running.

      We would like to apologize to the tenant for any and all inconvenience that resulted from this issue. Please know that we are doing everything in our power to get all issues resolved in a timely manner.

      If you want your A/C fixed. You'll be waiting a long time. The first time we called maintenance they told us that our apartment building and number wasn't even on their list. We called up to the main office and they assured us they would call and place a work order. There was no follow up. They probably didn't even do it. We are still without air this morning and attempted to call maintenance twice. No answer. We called the main office to tell them we can't get in touch with maintenance to get told, "well we don't deal with maintenance, so just keep calling". Literally if you're reading this go take your money to Habitat 2000!! We pay 1000+ here and can't even get our A/C fixed.

      Our maintenance records indicate that the initial call was received by our call center on 04/25/22. We strive to have all maintenance requests completed in a timely fashion. I can confirm that the issue with the tenants A/C was resolved on 04/27/2022. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

      Yes, the maintenance issue did get resolved after consistent calling for the days in between. We called 3-4 times daily in the days between! I received a call from a power's property representative who explained the process way better than the local Florence, SC office did. I explained to him that it's the lack of compassion, care, customer service, and follow up from the Florence, SC office that made this situation almost unbearable. What I did not explain to him is that I am a Charge Registered Nurse at the local hospital, so I know first hand about staffing shortages and other little compartments that can hinder a business from becoming exceptional. Customer service is EVERYTHING and how you make people feel speaks volume. I hope moving forward this simple post helps others to speak out, and encourages the local Florence, SC office to learn how to effectively communicate with their customers more efficiently!

      Hello, I am writing this email with the hope of someone assisting with this serious issue. The neighbors marijuana weed smoke is continuing to leak into my apartment. I have contacted the leasing office multiple times. I have spoken to the office manager but still there is no resolution to this issue. I have called the dispatcher sheriff office but still this serious issue continues. There are nights my children and I have to leave out of the apartment because the weed smell is so strong and we all have gotten sick. I have expressed this serious issue to the leasing office and nothing was ever resolved. They sent out a Xerox copy of a notice this is prohibited but to no avail. The smoking only increased more and the office manager that the letter would have solved the issue. It has not. Reaching out to someone here to assist as soon as possible. Thank you!

      We are aware of this report. We have requested this tenant to contact the local sheriff's department and MEET with the officer to report the incident. We have sealed around the pipes inside Ms. ****** apartment. We have placed notices on the tenants in this building addressing this issue as well.
      We have limited authority addressing odor issues like this however, we are working on resolving this issue.
