      I traded in my ***** pilot, 2 months ago, i was a service advisor at east coast ***** in ***************************, as of this Wednesday 5th of june 2024, 2 months after I traded it in to my employer, it came back needing piston rings, I didn't know it had that issue, my employer falsly accused me of knowing about it, they had no proof, but refused to take my word for it. The car when I traded it in had an engine light on, the tech told me it was a vtec spool valve, I closed the work order thinking it needed that repair, plus I was due for a timing belt, rear brakes, and compliance bushings, even though I disclosed that to the sales **** they claimed I hid the information that it needed piston rings, the tech backed up my words but it wasn't good enough for them. The person who bought my car demanded they pay for the repair I had no idea the vehicle needed, the car had 130k plus miles on it. Anything could have happened. I had no idea. It was 2 months later, but they fired me over it. I'm stunned . I can't believe they thought so little of me. I told them everything I knew. But it wasn't good enough. I was a good employee. I won advisor of the year last year. I don't know why this is happening to me. They must have had something against me. I'm not sure what though. I'm hurting, angry, feel betrayed, and can't figure out how to move forward. Essentially they fired me cause there having to pay for the new owners repairs, everything I knew when I turned in the vehicle was disclosed prior to trade in to my former employers sales staff. I put 5000 dollars down on the trade in of the new vehicle I purchased, if I had ******* to put down on the repair then I could've afforded to fix my car because piston ring repairs generally range in the ******* dollar range, the service manager *********************, and general manager ********************* accused me of fraud. There is more to this story and I wish to speak with apex automotive ownership to better explain this is more detail.

      I purchased a car from East Coast ***** several years ago, which at that time when very smoothly because of a nice person who conducted himself in a very Professional, courteous and HONEST manner. I had recently returned to East Coast ***** on 01/08/2024, in an attempt to perhaps 2nd car from this location. To my surprise salesperson I dealt with first time is no longer employed there. I was then met by another salesperson. During my conversation with this salesman, I clearly explained to him I was looking to purchase a vehicle within a certain price rain that will accommodate my budget.After a short tour of cars, I came across a vehicle that I maybe interested in. We discussed a price which met my criteria/cost. ******* then told me there had been a recall on this vehicle, I informed the Saleman, that until all recalls had been repaired I will not be purchasing this vehicle. I then informed him that I was pressed for time and could not picked up this vehicle until a subsequent visit back to the area within 10-15days. He then informed me that if I put a deposit on said vehicle he can hold it until my return. I then asked several times will all repairs be completed, he was somewhat hesitant but assured me they would. I then allowed salesman to charge my credit/ debit card for a deposit of 500 dollars. It should be noted here that information I had first provided ( name dob SS# etc) this same salesman had ran my credit without my consent. I then informed him there is no reason to try and be verbally abrupt so I would not change my mind. Once I decided I was going to purchase the car after all recall completion were repaired. He and his manager then tried to pressured me to take the vehicle that day and bring it back on my subsequent visit back in town. At this time I informed he and the manager I will no longer be purchasing the car and to refund money back to my car. So far as of this date 01/27/2024, money has not been returned.       Dearest reader,I wish you all to know first off, if I were able, I would give this company 0 stars if not negative stars.I purchased a 2017 ***** ***** in 2018 from them. The car was fine. Honestly I loved my *****. The company however, is not fine. This establishment henceforth began to harass me about buying a new car from them ad nauseum for the next 5 years. I just got another message about buying a car two days ago on 5/15/23 which is why this is going up now.So unless you like being harassed for several years even after several attempts to get them to stop contacting you, I'd say stay away from these people. There's plenty of ***** dealers around, I'm sure you cannot get worse than this experience
